Lou was really entertaining!!! It was cute and funny. And so, so creative. I know the animators had so much fun on this short!
It's not my favorite (Boundin probably always will be), but it is just as good as their other recent shorts.

I'd rather they gave us the short about a pirate and a mermaid. At least, it would have been something different for Pixar.
In 2005, Dave Mullins started coming up with ideas for a short film. The first was about a family of beavers that represented his family. The second was some Cars ideas that he had. And then, he had ideas about a pirate and a mermaid.
