Reminds me about The Rocketeer:

He was. Korath is part of the Kree race which is why he is in the film.

Lol, that works perfectly here. Even I had to google search his name. I was calling him Korak, the name of Tarzan's son.

I saw it today. It's not one of Marvel's best films, but I liked it. It has some cool action sequences and some interesting story turns. I liked Brie Larson in the title role too, but I wish we had gotten to know her a bit more.

We'll get a lot more of her back story in her sequel, in the Phase 4 saga.

I saw it last night and loved it. In my opinion, it's far past time that Marvel had an iconic female super hero. Much of the reason I loved the movie, though, is because it is based in 1995 which is the year I graduated high school. So much nostalgia! The cat was an added bonus, as well as the fair amount of humor through the movie. Very well done and all tied together neatly with a bow at the end, at least in my opinion. Highly recommend. My children loved it too - boys ages 16 and 14, girl age 8.

I loved Goose. I want to know what happened to him now.

Yes, I guess so. Well, I wasn't referring specifically to her back story, but maybe the fact that they didn't reveal much about her past is why I was left with the impression we didn't get to know her well enough. Her personality, though, was well defined and she had good chemistry with Samuel L. Jackson. So that was just a minor complaint that, as you said, can be fixed in upcoming movies.

She has a big role in Avengers: Endgame so you'll get the chance to see more of her personality in a few months anyway.

^It's true, I won't have to wait much to see more of her.

This makes it the 7th MCU film and the 10th superhero film to pass the $1 billion mark.

^That's quite impressive. I knew this film would be successful, but I didn't expect it would cross the billion-dollar mark.
