^ This looks SO GOOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I laughed, I got misty-eyed just from the trailer! This exceeded my expectations! (My thought throughout the trailer was that I hope Bryan Cranston's character stays good throughout!)

I agree with you Amy. It looks better than expected. I think it will be received well from both audiences and critics. Inspirational and heartfelt movies are Disney's bread and butter, after all. I wonder if they'll adapt the sequel "The One and Only Bob" if this one proves successful (whatever the measure of success is for Disney+ originals.)

a bit off topic but I'm quoting myself because it was announced that we are in fact getting an animorphs movie. Woo!

Not bad for a family-friendly Disney flick.

I wish I had watched it sooner- I had wanted to, but wanted to give it my undivided attention. I just watched it, and this is a masterpiece. I cried through 1/2 of it, so you know it's great! So incredibly heartfelt. And one of my dogs growled at the animals (well, she does that on the Cats movie, too...). I definitely recommend this. Very sweet, pretty simple, but very rewarding. Bring on The One & Only Bob! (But, I just watched the book trailer for that book and based on the short book trailer, Bob goes on a quest to find Ivan, and in this movie, in one of the two end-credit scenes, Bob is adopted by Julia and they go visit Ivan, so maybe there isn't a need to make the sequel...).
