It could be the SWL at Hollywood Studios too, which is closing American Idol & Indiana Jones (allegedly)

Well, this article also mentions such here as well: http://www.slashfilm.com/star-wars-disn ... news-2015/.disneyprincess11 wrote:It could be the SWL at Hollywood Studios too, which is closing American Idol & Indiana Jones (allegedly)
Oh no! Now Mickey and his friends will be homeless!Big Disney Fan wrote:Now things have taken a turn for the bizarre: a new Star Wars Land is rumored to still be on the way but not in Tomorrowland, but rather taking over Mickey's Toontown!
That would do a great disservice to this being the home of Mickey and the gang, not to mention a good spot for small kids to go. I like Toontown, and I hope it never gets replaced!

I wouldn't worry if I were you. Those are nothing more than the usual big fat lies that MiceChat likes to create and make up just to get attention and publicity. They must be ignored at all costs--they have absolutely no credibility whatsoever, they have major attitude problems at that site and they've always posted rumors and lies as "news" only for them to not pan out, giving the MiceChatters excuses to tear Disney down.TsWade2 wrote:Oh no! Considering that the lie has spread to other sites, I'm not sure what to believe. It doesn't help that the majority of people at MiceChat are no fans of Mickey's Toontown, like I am. That seems to only be show encouragement for the removal.disneyphilip wrote:I wouldn't worry if I were you. Don't believe the lies anyway. They always spread like viruses to other sites all the time when made-up sensationalistic stories such as this get created by any website, so this is nothing new, especially coming from the very mean-spirited and Fox News-esque MiceChat.Big Disney Fan wrote:Considering that the lie has spread to other sites, I'm not sure what to believe. Where were these debunked? I work at the parks and I can tell you that strong rumours (I believe them) about Muppets and Autopia are very much alive with CMs. I actually heard about Autopia through a reliable source, and really, if you think about it, with Radiator Springs Racers, it's only a matter of time before Autopia gets replaced. Especially since it's still running on gas and dated in so many ways.disneyphilip wrote:Plus, I fully agree with your point on the MiceChatters hating Toontown and that they're only making things up because they hate it. They've expressed similar hatred for other attractions as well, like Muppet-Vision 3D, the Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage, Autopia, etc. to the point where they made up lies saying that DL would be closing them for good and, of course, those stories were ultimately debunked.
So, the next time MiceChat makes up lies just like these, do not believe them.
That makes sense. That Miceage site needs to be close down for good.disneyphilip wrote:Don't believe the lies anyway. I still don't think DL will get rid of Muppets or Autopia (both of which are staple franchise attractions). They may have discussed closing them, but I don't think they'll actually close them. I think they'll just get updates at best instead.Linden wrote:Where were these debunked? Well, Radiator Springs Racers is no Autopia. If anything, it's more comparable to Test Track at Epcot. You don't steer the cars here, because there are no steering wheels. Everything is pre-controlled, for a lack of better words. And I bet there's a height requirement for RSR. Yes, Autopia does have a height requirement, too, but that's mainly for anyone who wants to operate their car alone.Linden wrote:I actually heard about Autopia through a reliable source, and really, if you think about it, with Radiator Springs Racers, it's only a matter of time before Autopia gets replaced. Exactly! Those are very good reasons as to why DL would keep Autopia and not get rid of it.Big Disney Fan wrote:Linden wrote:Well, Radiator Springs Racers is no Autopia.
