It is a great animated short which runs about seven or eight minutes. I hope it will be presented in widescreen on the DVD.

Wow, really? I remember commercials and stuff, pretty big for just a short. What was it included with, theatrically?

My memories say it was with "A Kid in King Arthur's Court." The two have no connection whatsoever, but I know these were both released in 1995. Is "Runaway Brain" on the MIckey Mouse in Living Color Vol. 2 DVD? If so...
!!! The only footage I've seen of this were of Minnie opening a glass door in the opening of the wonderful D-Show CD-ROM game.
Anyhow, about Eisner and Mickey....
So he was perfectly fine with releasing a funky blue dog-boy thing that sounds like Timon in theatres, but not world-known-75-year-old-American-Pop-icon-symbol-loved-forever-and-ever Mickey Mouse? I'm sorry but I just don't see the logic in that. How reliable was this news? I thought one of Eisner's goals was to enhance Mickey's popularity and wouldn't putting Three Musketeers in theaters help that?

I think that the cover looks almost better than our cover! Well, I can't tell. But I like Pluto being on the cover, and the way Minnie is looking at Mickey - they both are very good! Very cool Joe!

I disagree with them people thinking the mouse isn't strong anymore. It was the reason most of us all became disney fans in the first place. Well maybe I shouldn't speak for other people, but at least for me. I think it would have been great --and taking my son to see the same mouse i grew up watching.

I agree with you, except that it was Donald for me...
I have always enjoyed Mickey, I think that a LOT of people would go see it in theaters!

Based on the previews, I don't think it looks quite good enoug for a theatrical release, but I'll just have to wait and see if this is true. I am glad to see a new film with the classic characters, of which I am obviously a Goofy fan, and wish Disney would do more straight to video films like this, instead of all of the sequels. I like Brazil's cover art better. It makes it look more adventurous, which is what "Three Muskateers" is supposed to look like. I hope it is good and that Disney does more like this.

I agree... I think the US cover needs Pluto on it to be really good, and take off those other creatures on the right side.
