I haven't been particularly active on the forum this year, so I doubt I can fairly vote for any of these categories.

Thanks. I'm hoping that will help.

It doesn't matter. You can still vote and we need every vote that we can get.

I didn't send any nominations for reviews, so I'm guessing it would be okay to send those now?

Also is there a cutoff date of what Reviews someone can nominate?

How come Most Intelligent Member of the Year is different from Most Informative Member of the Year?

To inform is not the same thing as being intelligent. Although on this forum, they seem to go together pretty often.

Yes, it would be fine.
disneyboy20022 wrote:Also is there a cutoff date of what Reviews someone can nominate?
Yes, only the reviews which have been published between November 01, 2011 - November 24, 2012 are eligible. At the bottom of each review there is a publication date.

These two categories have always been distinct since the inception of the awards. 'Informative' is deemed as providing useful or interesting information while 'Intelligent' is more subjective in this context and it depends on how you view someone as having or showing intelligence. It can include (but not limited to) to one's ideas, views, linguistic competence, understanding of various social and/or natural sciences etc.

These two attributes do not always go hand in hand.

If I mixed up the non Disney TV Titles and the Non Disney Film Titles let me know or just adjust them accordingly. I hope more people are voting now.

Sure.

Sadly, no. There have been only 5 submissions so far. There need to be at least 15.

What I want to know is what's the difference between posting here and submitting nominations? :?

It’s too bad there isn’t a way to PM everyone on the forum to let them know about the awards. I wonder if many members just don’t look at the Off-Topic section anymore.

I think I'll miss you forever, like the stars miss their sun in the morning sky.
Late is better than never, even if you're gone I'm gonna drive.

I was hoping we might still go with it, because maybe more people would vote than they would nominate. Who knows.
