Man, I wish I could've seen that!

I agree this is a step (albeit a small one) in the right direction. I want Mitchell gone too! But I think we'll get what we want soon. The 2 roles should be split anyways. How did Eisner assume both titles? Was he chairman and then took over as CEO from Frank Wells or something? That's just a guess, I don't know too much about the 80s Disney business stuff.

Yeah, both of those segments funny. I think the latter one was supposed to look like Eisner was trapped in Sleeping Beauty Castle, and the fans were down on the ground with pitchforks.

You are right about the chairman position. After Frank died, Eisner became chairman of the board because the board did not have a successor in mind. Seems that has caused them trouble several times!

New York Post : 'IT'S MIKE OR ME

"Steve Jobs wants to return to the Disney fold if Michael Eisner is ousted as CEO, The Post has learned.

In January, Jobs' Pixar Animation Studios dealt a serious blow to Eisner when it announced it was ending talks on extending a lucrative movie deal with Disney.

But lately, Jobs has told associates in Hollywood that he would like to re-up with Disney if Eisner is pushed out, according to sources close to Jobs.

When Pixar ended the talks with Disney, Jobs said in a statement that the company would enter talks with other studios. But now those talks are on hold as Jobs waits to see what Disney's board of directors does in the wake of a shareholder revolt against Eisner, sources say. "
