I think the "vanilla for Aurora" one is funny too, but mainly I was talking about the watermelon.

I was thinking grape for Tiana but people would get mad because of the fact that their is a stereotype about black people liking grape soda.

If all else fails they could have just had her do the lime flavor because of the fact that lime matches her green dress.

Blacks and grape soda? There's one Ive never heard of. That would again be another case where the colors would work well with her skin tone though. Purples and lime green are known to go well with brown. Honestly sometimes if feels like you just cant win, and no matter what you try to associate with a minority someone will cry foul.

Well, they could have done chocolate for Tiana to go with Vanilla Aurora.

What flavour would Mulan be ? Banana ? Durian ?

When you put it that way, what fruit wouldn't be considered racist when paried with a black person? Strawberry? Orange? Lemon? Apple? They all sound, just in general, vaguely racist.


Here's what I think each princess deserves:

Vanilla for Belle, since she's the most bland Princess
Blueberry for Snow White
Banana for Cinderella
Cherry for Ariel, tee hee
Orange for Pocahontas
Lemon-lime for Jasmine
Grape for Aurora
Watermelon for Mulan
Green Apple for Tiana
Wild Berry for Repunzel

Grape soda and barbecue potato chips is the stereotype I always hear in this area.

If you think about why they put Tiana on a dip and stick thing then you watch the movie and see that she poweders the beignets in sugar.I can say I wonder why the marketers don't make packaged beignets with Tiana's image at Disneyland now those would be good.

too expensive, unless they overload them with preservatives like the $1 gas station "bake shoppe" donuts.

I'd think strawberry for Cinderella because pink is so prominent in her film and she's strawberry blonde.

I'd think Chocoloate for Tiana just because of the kind of stuff she bakes. And yes, it's racistly funny.

I see what you mean but Snow White and Aurora average out on the Blandness scale since their films were far more interesting and tasteful than Beauty and the Beast.

I didn't assign the flavors, honestly, for clever reasons. I see green apple as a more obscure candy flavor than most and that to me suited Tiana better since Disney just had to put her so late in the game that she doesn't feel like a real Disney princess.

Watermelon for Ariel is too cutesy an idea. And watermelon doesn't have enough flavor. Ariel deserves better.

We all have our opinions and I don't care if mine bothers you- you have no right to say anything like that to anyone especially over something as trivial as a movie character.
