Reading this thread actually reminded me of something which UK readers may remember:

Around 2001, the time of Disney's big "100 years of magic" celebration, the UK Disney Channel used to play short cartoons and segments in between shows. One of these was live action, set in a sort of vault and featured 3 kids. In each episode, a kid would take a disk and walk into a sort of vault-like room with a table in the middle. The table was a sort of time machine type thing where they'd place a special metal disc and then turn it. Images from a particular year in disney history would appear in the air and the narrator would say something like: "It's 1971, Walt Disney World Resort in Florida opens and Disney releases Bedknobs and Broomsticks etc etc" and would give a brief synopsis of the year's movies/events.

At the end, the kid would reach into the image and physically take an object from the movie. I remember a few of them:

1937 - Snow White's apple
1992 - Aladdin's lamp

hmmm... that's actually all i can remember. They'd then bring back the item to show the others. It was a pretty cool little series that lasted around 2 mins per episode. I don't know if anyone else remembers it, I've looked on youtube but never found it!

^ Sounds interesting. I doubt there'd be something like that on the Disney Channel today...

I meant no elements by themselves. Some people just said "fire". I picked things like a drop of water, a branch with fire, a ship made of cloud.

Swillie, okay, thanks, I was just trying to be more consistent and uniform.
