Hello, Secret Santa!
Aaron here. I came here to read through everyone's wishlists and to post my own. An hour later, I've just finished reading Escapay's only.

I'm afraid my introduction won't be able to rival his, but I'll tell you a bit about myself: I'm 26 years old. As for occupation and pastimes, I'm a lawyer by day and I write entertainment reviews and produce podcasts by night. I love to write, and just recently learned that my first book is going to be published!
For a long time, I've said that
The Color Purple is my favorite movie... lately, I think
Casablanca might be reaching it in a tie. There are so many more and I could spend the rest of the evening listing my very top favorites and still only scratch the surface. As for Disney, my favorite animated classics are
Sleeping Beauty and
The Lion King; my favorite live-actions are
Pete's Dragon,
Mary Poppins, and
Bedknobs and Broomsticks; my favorite Pixar film is
Wall•E (but I love them all except for the two
Cars); my favorite Muppets movie so far is probably
The Great Muppet Caper (but then I really need to give them all a new re-evaluative back-to-back screening); my favorite Muppet is Sam the Eagle; and my favorite Marvel film franchises are
Spider-Man (though I disliked #3) and
X-Men (though I disliked
Origins: Wolverine) [but my favorite superhero universe, by far, is
Batman]. I frequent the Disney Parks and even though I don't live very close to them, I am a Walt Disney World annual passholder. Working with UltimateDisney.com/DVDizzy.com has been a big part of my life for many years now, I've met some cool people through it, and this Secret Santa program is one of my favorite parts of the Christmas season.
I also love music. My favorite artists include Amy Grant, Aerosmith, Michael Jackson, Maroon 5, Hanson, David Gray, "Weird Al" Yankovic, Jason Mraz, The Beatles, Frank Sinatra, and so many more. I can never get enough good music, and I'm always having to upgrade my hard drive to contain it all! As a general rule (with exceptions), I love everything from the 1990s. My favorite TV shows can be categorized into classics ("I Love Lucy", "Bewitched", pretty much anything shown during the first few years of Nick at Nite), childhood favorites ("Boy Meets World," "The Golden Girls," "Full House," "Family Matters," "Murder, She Wrote," etc.), recent shows ("LOST," "Everwood," "Entourage," and more), and current shows ("Desperate Housewives," "Parks and Recreation," "30 Rock," "American Idol," etc.) -- that said, I also enjoy game shows and I probably watch more 24-hour news programming than anything else.
What else can I tell you? I celebrate Christmas, but you probably already know that from your assignment email. I am a Christian and my faith is important to me. Apple is the only computer brand I've ever bought. I don't really like chocolate, and aside from chicken, I don't eat much meat (I just don't care for it). However, I love dessert pastries and I could eat pastries all day long (but I don't). When it comes to food, I like strong and unusual tastes and have a severe sweet tooth.
I really didn't mean to write more than a few sentences, and yet here we are. I blame Albert.

I guess I have to throw in a random song too.

How's that for purely random awesomeness?

...I love all kinds of music and have what I consider a pretty eclectic taste, with pop-rock and other variations of rock probably being my favorite general genres. I'm always up for discovering new music, though, and that goes for soundtracks too. I've participated in all of the year-end "What CDs Did You Buy This Year?" threads we've had here, so you can get a better musical sense of me there if you'd like.
