Scene: It's a tie between Cinderella's scene with the Fairy Godmother and Cinderella showering, ha.
Song: Bibbidi, Bobbidi, Boo
Cinderella showering?!
At the beginning of the movie birds wake Cinderella up and give her a shower by squeezing out a wet sponge above her head.
----
Character: Cinderella, Lucifer, Jaques and Gus-Gus
Scene: the mice make a dress for Cinderella
Song: A dream is a wish your heart makes/ Cinderella

Character: Cinderella, Lady Tremaine, Lucifer
Scene: The "music" lesson sequence; mice making the dress; Anastasia and Drizella ripping the dress into pieces with Lady Tremaine just standing there; "Bibbidi-Bobbidi-Boo" sequence including the transformation (I just love makeover scenes

); the climax with Jaq and Gus stealing the key from Lady Tremaine's pocket; "But you see, I have the other slipper" and Lady Tremaine's face.
Song: "A Dream Is a Wish Your Heart Makes" and "So This Is Love".

Character: Cinderella.
Scene: The fairy godmother with the pumpkin carriage and obviously the dress! Cinderella running down the stairs after she escapes her tower to try on the slipper and the sassy way she declares she has the other slipper.
(shower scene, it's an excellent noise she makes whilst singing)
Song: 'So This is Love' - ideally I'd like this for my first dance but don't think the other half would go for it and also, I'm no dancer.

Scene: The Entrance of the Fairy Godmother.
Her materialising slowly out of fairy dust as the chorus sings a reprise of "A Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes" just after Cinderella has broken down is touching and winning. It's the kind of scene we all want when we feel at a low eb - like, suddenly, just out of pure emotion, some sort of magical guardian would appear and make things better.
Honourable mention: The Stroke of Midnight for its score and brilliant, expressionistic cutting skills. So much seems to happen in 12 seconds.
Character: The Fairy Godmother.
The character presented here is just so warm and loveable, humble and jovial yet not a blundering fool with it. Verna Felton's vocal talents were easily of great service here. I think a lot of illustrated versions of the either present her too much as a youthful mythical creature (like a folkloric fairy) or as a sort of old crone/good witch, so I like the design/costume balance between the two extremes. She actually reminds me a lot of a kindly old neighbour who used to sometimes babysit me and my brother when we were younger.
Honourable mention: The Stepmother. The ultimate cinematic psycho-b****.
Song: TIE
"A Dream is a Wish Your Heart Makes" has a lovely melody and beautiful, touching lyrics. However, "Bibbidi Bobbidi Boo" is a sure-fire classic. So we'll just have to call it a tie.

Favorite Character: Cinderella, the demure, warm, loving, sassy, firm, playful, humorous, graceful, beloved princess of mine. (Behind her, The Fairy Godmother and Lucifer)
Favorite Scene: Well, duh, it's when Cinderella's torn pink dress transforms into a big, beautiful silver gown, by magic Disney dust swirling around it. (Behind that, the pumpkin to coach transformation, the midnight transformation back, and "So This is Love")
Song: "Sing Sweet Nightingale". (Behind it, "So This is Love")

I love her design, too. I hooded cloak is rather new, unique costume for her. It lends to her mystery with the hood and theatricality with the sleeves. In the new live-action version, the Fairy Godmother also has a design between a young and beautiful fairy and an older woman wearing what a normal person might wear in her time, sans the jeweled stars. I actually love it more than the original animated design, but to me the original animated design is perfect to the film it's in.

Character: Cinderella
Scene: "A Dream Is A Wish Your Heart Makes," when Cinderella is taking orders from her family in the beginning, when her sisters destroy her dress, the transformation scene, the ball, "So This Is Love," the destruction after midnight (I guess I like everything that hardens Cinderella, because there's so much to root for; she goes through all of that so she (and we) can maybe appreciate her happily-ever-after all the more).
Song: "A Dream Is A Wish Your Heart Makes"
