I don't remember the last time a Disney TV animation production had these kinds of production values. I was impressed with the prologue and hopefully the series will explore the world of Tron and charcaters as much as possible. They have the run time to do so.

Outside of some pretty flat dialogue and a really cliched setup for the main character, this was actually pretty good. Given the fact that I’m not really a fan of either of the previous TRON movies and that the last thing to come out of DisneyXD was Ultimate-Spiderman (eww), I wasn’t expecting much at all (did I mention the extremely unappealing character designs for this show?). Suffice to say, the quality of this show caught me off guard. Never thought I’d say this but I’m excited for TRON.

I am OBSESSED with this series! So happy it's gotten such positive reception. I really hope we see a complete Season 1 home video release.

Season finale (and possibly the series finale what with the show's future being uncertain) just aired.
Flynn dammit Disney, you should not cancel a show on a cliffhanger like that.

I agree they can't do it. I hate it when a show gets canceled after a cliff hanger especially after that...

I have a feelig TV executives have rocks for brains when they cancel good shows for rather pointless, stupid, and really inane reasons.

That show isn't too bad... the live-action shows on that channel are bad.
I'd like to take control of that channel. First, I'd change the name to Disney Adventure Channel. Second, Tron Uprising would be back. I'd have a whole block of Marvel programming. A block of classic Disney adventure shows. Live action Pirates series, withot Cap'n Jack.

Disney XD’s visually impressive and pricey animated series “Tron: Uprising,” based on the films, struggled to attract the channel’s core viewers of 6- 11-year-old boys. The series’ tone appealed more to an older audience that isn’t yet watching the channel.
“It did well with many segments of the audience, but missed some of the key demos,” DeBenedittis says. “It’s one of those examples where if the bull’s-eye is the Disney brand, and you go into the other rings, you take some risks in missing the magic of the bull’s-eye. (“Tron: Uprising” took the right risk and we created a show to be so proud of, but it hit the secondary ring of the target.”)
With a sequel to “Tron: Legacy” in the works at the studio, Disney Channels plans to eventually bring back “Tron,” but it may not be returning as the same show, DeBenedittis says.
