I agree. I don't know this case and I'm not going to comment on it, but I agree with your sentiment. The only times I think 'jailtime for life' is acceptable, is when you're dealing with big-scale, planned, deliberate (ordering of) murdering (like war criminals) and/or when the defendant is mentally ill and is a danger to society.
I pretty much agree, too. Jail is to make people stop doing something again, not just make other people, usually the people who aren't even the actual victims, "feel better" like that'll undo the bad things that happened. The punishment of a long enough time in jhail is enough justice.
However, this woman should go to jail for a much longer time than she's been in for. At least like 4 more years.
