Sounds great and might improve on Iron Man 3 which disappointed some but not me, i think this could have a chance of surpassing the first movie and lead to Avengers 2 with the ending.

I saw it twice already. This so far is my favorite entry into The Marvel Phase 2 Movies.

That makes two of us! Seen it twice myself and planning to see it a third time before getting it on 3D Blu-ray. My favorite Marvel movie, it's really epic fun! Comedy, action, great actors, costumes and visuals. Love the world of Thor!:) They better make more Thor movies...

The Reason I went to see it again yesterday is because I was in the bathroom missing the parts Where Thor and the others decide to do treason and free Loki. I didn't know what that scene was for sure until yesterday afternoon. The joys of having Crohn's Disease.
However Wednesday I'll be taking my dad to see it.
Also I'd like to point out that on November 19th the Agents of Shield will take place after the events of Thor 2. I'm just saying this so some people don't tune in and complain that Agents of Shield spoiled Thor 2 for those that don't want it to be spoiled for them,

Saw Thor in IMAX 3D this evening. Loved it! Lots of fun. The cameos were great, including Stan's, and a nice little setup for another Marvel series. Want to go see it again before it hits Blu.

Saw it 3 times in theaters, AWESOME sequel that is better than the first one and a nice followup to Avengers and Iron Man 3 (face it the Marvel Universe by Disney are their own sequels to each other since they share the same universe) as the ending sets up for another Marvel film and the trailer to Captain America was awesome

Patty Jenkins explains why she exited Thor 2.
Jenkins spoke frankly about her departure: “I did not believe that I could make a good movie out of the script that they were planning on doing. I think it would have been a huge deal—it would have looked like it was my fault. It would’ve looked like, ‘Oh my God, this woman directed it and she missed all these things.’ That was the one time in my career where I really felt like, Do this with [another director] and it’s not going to be a big deal. And maybe they’ll understand it and love it more than I do.” The director shook her head. “You can’t do movies you don’t believe in. The only reason to do it would be to prove to people that I could. But it wouldn’t have proved anything if I didn’t succeed. I don’t think that I would have gotten another chance. And so, I’m super grateful.”

I understand her perspective, not wanting a stain on her career that might ruin her future. I'm glad things have worked out for her because of that decision. TBH, I don't think any of the Thor films are that great. It's really only Hemsworth and Hiddleston that make the thing worth watching (sort of like Paul Rudd for Ant Man). Sometimes even actors can't salvage things; Cate Blanchett, for example, couldn't save Thor 3. I mean, most of these superhero films are like that, only good for a laugh, but disposable. The only ones I genuinely like are Deadpool, GotG, and a certain few of the X-Men, Batman, and Spider-Man films. Holland being extra adorable is really the only reason I bought Spider-Man: Homecoming.
