anyway, the official Disney DVD's on Mexico are both R1 and R4 compatilbe, and it'll get the English track... so you can get it from a good online retailer...
Well, If it has an english track then i might just look into it. Thanks! :)

As for Cinderella being the March platinum, anything can happen and we all know that. I, personally, would LOVE for Cinderella to be released in March, however, i would be satisfied if Bambi was released instead. If a title that has already been released is brought out again as the March platinum, i will still buy it. But i still think that all the unreleased films should be first in line for platinum release. At least, i think thart makes me most sense... :)

Jeez guys! I'm just asking for news! :) Asking will certainly not affect Disney's scheduling.
I don't see anybody complaining about the Roger Rabbit Vista Series DVD, I am sure glad they released it.
The Pinocchio DVD was a really bad release, they did not even include the small documentary that was on the VHS edition! And I know many critics and reviewers were not satisfied with it (including me).

I remember when Pinocchio came out in a 60th anniversary in 2000, it was release in October in both video and Disney DVD for the first time.(Pinocchio was the first of the Disney Animated DVD collection.) Then in March 2001, it was rereleased again as a Gold Collection DVD with nothing new on it. Mostly i hope that Pinocchio comes out not as a Platinum Edition but a 2-disc Special Edition

It used to be that we all hoped these great movies would get the Platinum treatment, but now we just want the 2-disc SE? Was the B&B fluff really that bad?

I don't think so. I enjoyed the DVD, I thought Celine Dion was a perfect host, and I thought it had some interesting stuff.

Although, I would loved to have heard more about Walt's first 2 attempts to make BATB an animated feature, and more on how it finally came to pass.
I believe Disney was originally planning to do it as live action, in the 80's, but someone step in, possibly Eisner(?), and suggested making it an animated feature, as it would be easier to draw the beast, than have an actor play him...

There is always hope, that the future will bring a better version, I guess, but still a good dvd...
