(crosses fingers for Kigo action)

I would actually really enjoy Christy Carlson Romano as the character even in live-action; I always liked her. That said, I know Disney’s not going to go with her. They discard most of their past Disney product (and all these tween stars are considered “product” to Disney) when they are too old for the newest generation.

I don’t really mind them making a live-action film or even TV series though. The show always reminded me a bit of Jett Jackson anyway.

Production begins this April.

We have learnt that Disney Channel will begin filming the live-action 'KIM POSSIBLE' film in April in Vancouver.

Sadie Stanley and Sean Giambrone have been cast as Kim and Ron in the live-action movie which is set to debut on Disney Channel in 2019.

I don't recognize the actress but I recognize the actor from The Goldbergs. Going by his role there, I can easily see him being Ron.

Loved this show back in the day. Hope the movie does the original series justice and that it’ll renew interest in the characters.

He's also not a fan of the straps, unsurprisingly.

I hadn't seen his strappy one until after I drew mine yesterday, just his other new one with the classic outfit.

It seems those weird, overly-complicated yoga pants with strips of fabric wrapping around the legs are all over the place these days, I see ladies wearing them everywhere from Walmart to the mall. Don't really care for them in general but figured I'm just being on old fogey. So I guess I'm not really surprised to see them update Kim for the younger crowd with something like these. And honestly, I think it works ok to add details like that for the live action Kim, but it's definitely too busy for the original design.

Got to meet Mr. Silver at Wondercon earlier this year and bought a couple of his prints. He drew me a cute little Rufus when he signed them!

I am happy that they stuck very close with the original design. Like how she is still a redhead, even if it is not important for the story.

They could had changed everything if they wanted, but they didn't. If someone showed me that photo I would still say that it is Kim Possible.

Variety magazine is reporting that Christy Carlson Romano will have an as-yet-unknown cameo role, while Patton Oswalt will reprise his series role as Professor Dementor.

The full trailer is out! The movie premieres February 15, 2019 at 8 ET/PT on Disney Channel.

4.5 thousand likes, 7.9 thousand dislikes on YouTube... I feel the same way about this as the theatrical live action remakes, ( ) but wow, that's a lot of dislikes! People on YouTube saying it looks like a cheap fan-made film....it'll get viewers for sure, though, and that's the point.

I mean, it's made for Disney Channel. You're not going to get ILM-level special effects.

This is actually the Disney live-action redo I'm most looking forward to next year. I feel Kim Possible is a property that is easily translatable to live-action and the original creators did write the script.
