I don't know... I feel like this third one didn't work as well as the other two....

1. Marie!? Jeez, as if it was hard enough to settle between calling Babette or Fifi! (It is meant to be Babette.... right? I can never remember which one is correct....)

2. That music box defies all logic. How is it "alive" if it was never an enchanted object? Wouldn't it just be completely inanimate? I don't understand that at all!

3. Adam was reading a poem. He even said himself, in an earlier panel that he had forgotten how to read (which he admits to Belle in the movie). So.... How on earth did he do it?

4. A minor point: While I thought it was a nice touch that the mirror in the last panel shows Belle's face... How did the mirror work without someone commanding it to "Show me (insert name here)?" I wasn't aware that it could function of its own accord....

So... I don't know, I think that this one had a lot more continuity errors than the rest. It just didn't seem to fit as well into the story.

Yeah, I agree. I liked the concept of this comic and the dramatic ending, but the content was contradictory to both itself and the main Beauty and the Beast canon.

Still, it was cute, and I'm looking forward to the last two.

so, I've taken a leaf out of Enigmawing's Big Book of Art and decided to make some new drawings of scenes from the movie out of Enigmawing's Big Book of Art, and make some new drawings of scenes from the movie. I'm on my second now, and I have yet to photoshop and digitally paint the first one. I have that scanned however, and can post a pic.

Any update, Scaps?

I've been busy with school resuming and haven't had a chance to scan the last story (the 16-page "Elsewhen"). In the meantime, here's "Elsewhere".

It's interesting.... although wouldn't you think that the Enchantress would be encouraging Belle to go down the path, instead of hindering her? Unless maybe she thought that neither of them would be ready to meet yet.... Oh, I don't know. It wasn't as good as the first two, but it was still better than the third one.

Anyway, these are all really cool to see! Thank you, Scaps!

Gah! I just realized I never said thanks for posting these! They really bring back a lot of great memories.
