Too late. It's being prepped for shipping.

Hehe, my mistake!
I was thinking more about how the gift was likely to be sent overseas since ajmrowland said "international", but it shouldn't really take a month. Totally forgot that Puerto Rico is a US protectorate.

Yeah the estimated delievery date is always inaccurate...usually you recieve the amazon package before the estimated delievery date..it's just amazon's way of covering their rear end just in case it does take as long as they estimated.....
Also....I gotta an idea.....perhaps ajmrowland can edit his post to not say where how it's being shipped as I am sure he didn't think at the time and since I think it's his first year didn't realize that revealing what kind of shipping it is....basicly now we play a game of guess who......although I do realize some of the damage has been done.....and next time perhaps ajmrowland you could just email Luke himself about any problem like this instead of posting it the details of what kind of shipping or if something is wrong....like this...

Are you people paid to criticize me? cuz it's upsetting, and I'm a student un der a lot of pressure these days, and no, I didn't expect it to ship so soon, which must mean that it'll probably arrive by christmas anyway(at most new years). So, for once, shut up.

Wait, what?
And ajmrowland, calm down. We are just explaining a few things. We understand that crap happens, that this is your first time and that there were some mistakes. Sorry if we were heavy handed, but calm down a bit and let's enjoy this!

Ah

. For a minute there, I thought I was missing something XD .
Anyways, here's a tip for Amazon users...
If you receive an e-mail saying that the local post office wasn't able to deliver your package don't freak out. What this means is that the package is at the post office waiting to be picked up. Amazon has a weird set of rules regarding shipping. Sometimes they will accept PO Box addresses, other they require the physical address, but both use USPS for their deliveries.
So if it says they haven't been able to deliver it, just go to your local post office and the package should be there

I'm sorry I was a bit frustrated. I can be sensitive sometimes.
I joined this so that I could give someone somewhere something. Simple as that.

Wow, all these posts talking about shipping their gifts already. The window for shipment's open through the 15th, right? I planned to get my gift mailed next Monday.... unless that's really late. Then I'll have to get my butt in gear and mail it sooner.
Cheers,
JM

I don't understand why you felt compelled to answer the original question as to why the shipping would have taken so long, as it came from someone who is neither participating in this event nor a mod for the website. Had Luke asked, it would have been a totally different situation. Not criticizing you or anything, but I'm just saying just in case something like this happens again.
Sorry, just had to get that off my chest.
Anyway, I love this part of Secret Santa! Although I'm not participating I love seeing what everyone got, and who sent to whom!

Like I said, sometimes it's plain frustrating. especially when you're proven wrong a lot more times than seemingly necessary and end up the embarrassing butt of someone's signature.
Sorry, had to get that off my chest.
