I stopped reading that list after I saw Hercules (of all things) above Hunchback, Pocahontas, Rescuers Down Under, and just about anything else that it didn't deserve to be ranked above. What a terrible list. And how the heck is Dinosaur and Atlantis so high??? Or on the list at all. Pinocchio is fine, but a bit on the slow side. For them to knock Pocahontas and Hunchback because of their maturity just shows their lack of it. God forbid kids learn something during a movie, and it not all be mindless.

So am I to conclude that you loath Hercules?

I can't say I agree with most of the exact placements in the list (though in all fairness, can we with any "countdown"?), but I'm glad to see Pinocchio at the top. And as for The Little Mermaid not being in the Top 10, think positively; it got to number 11 at least, which isn't all that bad in my opinion.

Um, secret time, quality has never been a defining factor to be in the canon. Otherwise "Chicken Little" would never have been in it.

I enjoyed the list... didn't necessarily agree with every movie's place, but I don't think I'd ever be able to make my own list, and they explain how they factored theirs, which I appreciated.

Whether or not I agree, I think seeing countdowns like this can be pretty enjoyable, and this just gave me a little extra bit of excitement about having a new DAC in 2 weeks!

Found this at Rotten Tomatoes and thought it'd go well with this thread:

Funny.

There's also a video in which Brett (the guy in the video) "confesses" his love for the Disney heroines (including that female squirrel from Sword in the Stone).

I never thought Jasmin's breasts were disproportionate!

They mention that in the video! (Before anyone thinks I'm just making a creepy random statement...)

They sort of are, in comparison to her waist. But, hey, no one's complaining. Well, OK, some people are, but I'm not going to. :P
