 And now I feel like I've been lied to my ENTIRE life.

So wait a minute, Cordy said that the D-Files stated it was them...?

OK...now I'm confused. Why on earth would the D Files point them out as being in the Ball scene if they weren't the ones doing the "show" lines? :?

I don't know about the D-Files, but the movie credits them at the end, they're listed on imdb, and really, Stenborg and Keal look nothing like Costa or Woods...

Hmm... :/ Well thanks for sorta clearing that up, Escapay- but still, what about the D-Files? I imagine that quite a lot of work went into it for this to be an accident, is it just Disney trying to make people love them, or do they really not know a thing about their own movies?

Cordy, would you be able to type up exactly what the blurb in the D-Files says?

It isn't described in a blurb, they are just "pointed out" in one of the hidden video segments accessible during the D Files game. Now I wouldn't be surprised if this was a MAJOR mix-up in the Disney camp (Woods & Costa might have indeed been in the Ball scene but perhaps not in those speaking roles). :? :?

Exactly what I was thinking, but if they actually were in the movie, why wouldn't they have any speaking roles? I would think that their appearances in this movie would be far more significant than those of Anita Keal and Helen Stenborg...

Could someone perhaps go into the D Files and clear this issue up? As much as I love "Enchanted" I really don't feel like wading through the rest of the game tonight...can you actually access certain areas without playing the whole game?

The reporter's name was Mary Ilene Casserotii, remember?

I watched The D-Files yesterday and it is true that during one of the bonus videos they do point out the two ladies in Escapay's screen cap as being Ilene Woods and Mary Costa. The director in the interview says "We placed Ilene Woods and Mary Costa in the ball." Then they show that clip with photos of both ladies at the time they recorded the voices for Cinderella and Aurora. I think this was probably a mistake made in the editing room and perhaps both ladies appear elsewhere in the ball segment.

So, um, would anyone be kind enough to actually make a list of all the Disney references from the Blu-ray? It would settle a two-year old debate.

I don't have the Blu Ray (just the DVD & iPod versions), but I can list a few from memory:

1) Grand Duke Hotel

2)The reporter's name took the names of the actresses that played a few of the early Princesses.

3) The Dragon (Sleeping Beauty)

4) The apple (Snow White)

5) Bus driver's hair looked like mickey mouse ears

6) Secretary "Sam" played by Ariel's voice

7) Soap Opera tv actress played by Belle's voice

8) the cleaning sequence is reminiscent of Snow White

9) the lost Shoe that fits perfectly

That's what I can think of off hand

Here's a few others I remember from the blu-ray, as well as from different interviews and clips

Giselle appearing in the bubble (Sing Sweet Nightingale - Cinderella)

Robert and Giselle in the rowboat (Kiss The Girl - Little Mermaid)

Edward picking up Nathaniel and dancing around with him (Phillip dancing with Hubert - Sleeping Beauty)

Edward following Giselle's voice (Phillip following Aurora's voice - Sleeping Beauty)

Name of the Italian restaurant is Bella Notte (Lady and the Tramp)

Narissa's peddler disguise (Queen Grimhilde's disguise - Snow White)

Robert & Morgan Phillip (Prince Phillip - Sleeping Beauty)

Nancy Tremaine (Lady, Anastasia, and Drizella Tremaine - Cinderella)

Mr. and Mrs. Banks (Mary Poppins)

Giselle's running through the park (Belle's reprise - Beauty and the Beast)

I'm sure there's more too, but what I can think of right now.
