Yeah, I kinda have to agree. And hopefully there'll be a new restoration; if not, then there'd be no heated discussions involving Marky and others on the forum and UD would end up falling into disrepair! :shock: ;)

Why does there need to be a new restoration? The last transfer was marvelous. If they want to do a 4k restoration for Blu-Ray, I'm all for it, of course.

Because the technology for restoring films has increased ten-fold since 2003/4.

lol, I mentioned wanting a new restoration really only as a way of satirising about the forum habits of going on and on about restorations and colours to the point where it just gets beyond silly. ;) I think it's a given fact that there'll be a new restoration for the Blu-Ray. :P
