Thanks for the pics! I'll probably pick this up even though I haven't seen it (it WAS nominated for Best Animated Feature, so it can't be bad, right?).

Also, I HATE that Disney is following Dreamworks' and Paramount's steps and making the DVD Discs color-less. It's dumb.

YES! The Rhino Short is on the first disc. I won't have to wait until I get a blu-ray player to watch it!
I'm positive I will get over it, but for the time being, Bolt next to all my other Blu-Rays on my shelf will bother me with its bigger case.

D-Box is for specialized furniture, in which you enter the code from a select BD title, and the motor in the seat reacts to certain moments in the film, so it might shake, vibrate, or something like that. I dont have one, but tNbC and Game Plan also support the feature.
thats sounds freaking awesome!!!
i bet i wont have room for it in an NYC apt
ill scan the discs for you

and the booklet
Thank you for putting these up! The Bolt DVDs look amazing! One of my favourite films of 2008. Is there any difference in quality between the DVD version and the Blu-Ray version?
What is a slip cover? I apologize for my ignorance!

I didn't wanna post a new topic and be ridiculed, so I decided to go here.
Anyway, TrailerAddict.com has a new Caption contest to win a copy of Bolt on Blu-ray. These are always fun to read/enter!

It sucks that only the DVD release has previews for The Black Cauldron and Lilo & Stitch. I wonder why these aren't included on the Blu-ray? Do they assume that if you buy the Blu-ray you're not going to buy anymore DVDs?! At least the DVD copy is included with the Blu-ray!

Because they're not blu-ray releases. That's why.
Anyway,

Like I said, they are fun!

Duh!!!!
We need to read the posts here before posting our comments. That way we won't be accused of padding our thread count.
Doesn't really matter what trailers are on the release, you bought it for the movie, not the trailers. But I like it that Disney only puts trailers for those Blu-Ray titles that are coming and not just everything they are putting out.

Thanks, as always, for posting this advanced info.
I am actually not upset that it doesn't have a slipcover because now it will "match" Chicken Little and Meet the Robinsons.

Just to point something out... Luke said in the review that the Blu-Ray has a slipcover... but lighthousemike's copy did not come with one... just a warning for lighthouse...

Not all DVDs/ Blu-rays *always* come with the slipcover. I can name a few places that sell some movies without it.

Just wondering, does it come in a slipcover, cause judging by the pics Disney has released I would say it looks like there is, but you photos just showed the regular BD case (and was comparing it to Pinocchio's slip).
But am I the only one who really doesn't like Disney's thicker Blu-ray cases for 3 discs, it would make a little sense if there are multiple Blu-ray sku's, but the fact is there's only one. And other studios, namely Warner Bros. can fit three, and even more (I recently saw a copy of Blade Runner- which is a 5 disc set- in a case not much thicker than the usual).
