I know I’m clucking at straws, but can anyone tell me if it is repeated on the internet any where?
If so where?
Well, I would like to know that too!
If I would have had digital TV I could probably have watched (or recorded) the Oscar ceremony because I would have access to FILM1 (a TV canal you have to subscribe to, but it opened up to non-subscribers just for the Oscars).
The ceremony used to be broadcasted on BBC2. But they have stopped with it and the last show I saw in it's entire was when
Return of the King won 11 oscars.
I even remenber a time when Dutch TV showed it, but than I'm talking about the 80's (with:
Gandhi, Amadeus , E.T.)

Sorry, but I doubt it will be repeated again. The Academy has a tight grip on the show, and anyone that dares to upload clips online gets them deleted.

Why? What is the point of that!?!
I would have thought that they would have wanted people to watch the stupid thing!
The way they are safeguarding it you would think it was the Water gate tapes or something.

Huh? Remember, the crocodile eats whatever is greater and turns aways from that which is lesser.

You are either appreciating my sarcasm or mocking my stupidity. I hope it's the first.

Yup, I found that out when I put a video of Jerry Orbach singing "Be our guest" on the Oscars '92 with my favourites on Youtube. First it was "this video is no longer available"and finally it dissapeared completely.
Yet it would be so nice if such moments could be included as extras on DVD-s of movies that won one or more Academy Awards - but I've never seen them on any DVD. So the logical conclusion is that the Academy doesn't allow that either.

Brokeback Mountain and Crash.
But that was a whole 'nother bag of bullshit.
