What?? Search for Mickey Mouse canceled?! That totally tanks big time! I want to see that kind of movie! It sounds like it'd have a lot of promise!
This seriously isn't fair that they decide to cancel it, when it sounds like it could be really good! Disney, how could you?!

Whatever happened to the animated Wizard of Oz that was proposed in one of the Mickey Mouse Club episodes? Has Disney ever thought of going back to it? (I know there was the live-action Return to Oz).

I wish they bring back Town Musicians of Bremen. Or is it too late.

Disney is defiantly holding out on us because those are some great concept art for some potential good stories.I don't know about you but I think the Swan Lake thing will never happen because of the fact that the Swan Princess will forever be the version that us kids born in the 90's will remember.

I've never heard of some of these! Specifically speaking for Flea Circus, Humphrey the Humpback Whale, Flower Planet, and Princess Stories.
When were they in development?

OMG! THANKS SO MUCH 4 POSTING!
Who knew Disney had so much in store? I knew about Swan Lake, but Flea Story? Princesses Stories? Humphery? What the heck were they?
P.S.-I think they can do Swan Princess/Swan Lake

Whoa, "Flower Planet" looks totally like the type of Disney feature I'd most enjoy - from those few concept pieces alone, it looked avant garde and trippy -

What were they smoking when they made that art because it seems to be the same stuff for when Alice In Wonderland was made.
But man why do the best stuff get abandoned or shelved because it just seems to be a waste. Then again anything can get picked up again by future generations to come who can make these movies come alive.

Woah Woah Woah! That's the original idea for a Mickey Mouse movie. The real Mickey Mouse movie is created by Burny Mattison.

I've done a little research and apparently "Flower Planet" was not a Disney project. The image was simply mislabeled as Disney.
Karen A. Keller was then hired by Bob Rogers Productions to art direct a twenty-minute IMAX format animated film for the Osaka Worlds Fair. She supervised the visual concept and design for "Flower Planet", the first IMAX formatted animation ever, for which she was presented a Cine Golden Eagle award for excellence.

Now, what would the gist of Princess Stories have been?

I couldn't find any information on that but it looks like a television or a DTV project and not a theatrical one.

I have a feeling it would have been a love letter to the Princess Phase almost every girl goes through.

The guy who did those concepts did abasolutley amazing concepts for Bambi II. It's a no wonder the art and direction in the movie was really good and almost matched the original movie.
I love his Aladdin backgrounds some were awesome like the ancient chamber with various statues around it.
I like some of the Quest for Camelot stuff he did.
And apparently there was works on a Marco Polo for some company (not Disney) but the Chinese and Italian architecture look pretty sweet.
I like for Aladdin, Pocahontas, Hercules, and Camelot, he drew some sort of map layout of where everything is in place. A blueprint almost.
For Aladdin it was Jasmine's garden(an apparently was surrounded by big rocks.)
For Hercules' it was Meg's Garden
For Pocahontas, it was her village
For Camelot it was the Camelot kingdom which was clever and neat how it was structured and layed out as the three circles symbol.
