Ooooh! :float: I would have adored this as a preteen in the mid-90's! I remember back then, I wrote down the lyrics for "A Whole New World" on a sheet of paper and was trying to memorize it so I could sing it by memory but it was too difficult remembering all the verses. I think the most I could remember was: A whole new world/a dazzling place I never knew/but now I'm way up here/it's crystal clear/Because now I'm in a whole new world with you (now you're in a whole new wooorld!) .

Jack Skellington, you said "It is confirmed for a 28th of November release on Amazon.co.uk in Europe. (hopefully Disney fans across the Atlantic would get their hands on it soon in the NTSC format)"

I do not know much about video games and systems and international versions but are you basically saying that if I by this Video game from amazon in UK, that it would not play on my PS2 which I bought in the States (I live in Maryland, USA).

Thank you.

PAL games work on PAL systems.

NTSC U/C (for US and Canada) games work on NTSC U/C systems.

NTSC J games work on NTSC J systems.

If you want to play a game meant for a different region, you either need to:

--mod your NTSC U/C console system to play PAL/NTSC J games (not recommended, IMO)
--import a console from the region the game comes from (expensive).

Yeah, unfortuantly you can't play it unless you have a Pal system. :(

Region Coding sucks big time.

Thank you both for replying. I don't really understand everything Leonia was saying, I understand that you could only play a certain type on that type of system, but besides that I do not understand. So thank you guys.

wrestling_stat if you bought your PS2 console from the U.S then this game won't work on your system, the U.S region code is called "NTSC" but the Europe version is "PAL". Unfortunatly theyre releasing this game only on PAL for the time being. :(

But I suppose Singstar is equally popular in the States so I would bet that they'd probably release the Disney version soon in NTSC. :)

Disney Interactive Studios has a number of titles aimed at a slightly older age range with more energy to burn. Budding vocalists, of whatever age, are those being targeted by Disney Sing It. This is a karaoke video game with a difference. The game features 35 songs and music videos from Disney Channel Original Series and Movies plus artists from Disney's Hollywood Records label. Options to skin the game allow for it to be personalised as the child attempts to out-sing friends. Various Multi-player modes are available and these include duet, player versus player and team action. You even get the chance to try vocal exercises to improve your performance. Disney Sing It will be available for the Xbox 360, PLAYSTATION 3, Wii, PlayStation 2 and Windows-based computers.

2099 net, that game consists of songs from HSM, Hannah Montana, The Jonas Brothers, etc.

I have a confession to make... the only song that I know from the tracks is "Were All In this Together", and I don't know the lyrics that much either.
