I think that this is nice (I really do), but what about celebrating all the cast members? I'm not saying that Disney doesn't celebrate their other cast members, because I'm sure that it's nice for the nighttime workers to feel appreciated...I don't know what I'm getting at, I guess. :p It includes a really nice video about what goes on at nighttime at Disneyland:

Am I the only one who is a little confused as to why anything "The Band Concert" - themed would be called the "Silly Symphony" anything!?

Yes, it's strange to call them "Silly Symphony Swings" when The Band Concert was not part of the 'Silly Symphonies' shorts and it's obviously a Mickey Mouse cartoon.
Possible explanations that I can think of:
1. They might be playing music from the SS shorts. This would make it seem that Mickey is orchestrating the music with his pals helping him out in the band. (Even if they don't have SS music they might have "silly" themed Disney songs playing.)
2. Maybe they consider this short an "unofficial SS" like Ferdinand the Bull.
3. The name is just catchier than "The Band Concert Swings."

(3/5/10) As wild as it sounds, one rumor going around the Disneyland Resort is WDI is in talks with Vekoma on creating a Tron Lightcycle themed version of their Booster Bike coaster. It’s just a Blue Sky idea right now, but I’m told the coaster system may have multiple launch zones to increase the speed of the ride as you approach and enter into a very twisted finale sequence. Sounds great to me.
Now for the flip side of the coin… seems the Disney legal team is mucking about with Disney’s E-Ticket rides again… and we know what they did after messing around with Splash Mountain a few years ago. This time the target is rumored to be Big Thunder Mountain, as apparently the numbers are being drawn up to see what it would take to replace the current bench-seat style trains with something more like Expedition Everest, which will feature two individual seats and individual lap bars. If approved, I’ve heard that the new trains could actually arrive by the end of 2010.

Editor's Note 3/17: Sick of the Disneyland parking nightmare? 3,600 extra spaces open up on Friday in the new Toy Story lot, with over two dozen city buses assigned to shuttle you roundtrip. The trick is getting you to park way down there, and if you have an AP then Disney has plans to push, prod, and plead with you to park there on Sundays. - Al Lutz
