@jrboy: They put an anti-theft device into the Steelbook?!? o.O
I've got the german Steelbook, but the DVD-Arts are crammed with 5 logos of different Rating-Systems -.-

It looks like it can be removed...
DarthPrime wrote:Also some more Indy rumors, but here is a page advertising Blu-rays for all 4 movies. The art work is the same as this DVD release, but looks nice.
Unfortunately, TheDigitalBits has already confirmed (from Paramount) that the advertisement is a fake.

I'll probably pick these up tomorrow. I'm just debating on what version to pickup. The Wal-Mart Lenticular covers are really nice, but about $10 more than buying the normal covers at Circuit City. I might try a price match, not sure. Also just thinking about getting the box set. I'm not a big fan of the slim cases, but its the cheapest way to get them.
For those that have the Wal-Mart editions are they worth the extra? My Wal-Mart is selling them for $15 each, so it would be about $10 more than getting the box set.

I couldn't resist, I took a bite and I dipped again! I picked up the Walmart versions with the 3D cover. They were only $13.99, the cheapest anywhere around here.

I was tempted by the Wal-Mart covers, but went for the box set.
I don't have the 2003 set to compare, but I've watched all 3 discs the past two days and really enjoyed them. Even Temple of Doom which I had memories of hating, I enjoyed. It had probably been 15 years or so since I saw Doom, and while its still my least favorite I didn't find it as bad as I remember. Raiders, and Crusade were great as always.
I'm pretty spoiled for Crystal Skull, and what I know worries me a lot. I just hope it comes together great on screen. I'll probably go see it sometime on Thursday.
I'm glad I went ahead and picked up the set, since I didn't have any version of them on film. I'll probably double dip later when the Blu-ray editions are available. At least for Raiders and Crusade, and maybe all 4 depending on the sets price.

I only own Raiders of the Lost Ark and Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade. For some reason I cannot find Indiana Jones and the Temple of Doom (which is kind of ironic, as its one of the lowest rated in the series).

I was never like a huge huge fan of Indiana Jones (like, as big a fan as I am of Star Wars or Lord of the Rings) so I never bought the movies on DVD when they came out in the box set.
However, the week before the movie came out, the grocery store I work at had the movies for $9.99 each which is just such an attractive price I couldn't say no.
