Awesome! I love love love Tiny Toons, it was one of my favorites growing up.

I'm just hoping that some of the more music-centric episodes aren't edited or anything....

I think I remember that one! Is it with Baby Plucky too?
Yep, it was another Baby Pluck short. I still remember one joke in there I thought that was rather adult that always cracked me up. Plucky swings the club too far back and hits his father in the privates, to which he says "Congratulations, son! You're going to be an only child!"

I really hope so too. Those were some of favorites, especially Babs's video to Respect and Plucky with Yakity Yak.

The Tiny Toon Adventures Set is in my hand.
So far everything is great from it's menu to the episode quality.

I'm just mad that they didn't give Tiny Toons a digipack case like Animaniacs! It's a regular DVD case with a slipcover, and everyone knows how Warner Bros. makes these things smaller than the actual case. It would have been awesome to have Animaniacs, Pinky and the Brain, and Tiny Toons to have all the same packaging.

Most of them together: http://i75.photobucket.com/albums/i296/ ... oto169.jpg

I also bought the Tiny Toon Adventures DVD today (along with the Star Wars Trilogy dvd). I only watched two episodes, but the picture looks good.

I also hated the way they packaged the dvd. They are really cheaping out.

Why are they reversed?

Awesome I forgot Tiny Toons was coming out today! I'll have to get it next time I go out... and I was just thinking to myself how I couldn't wait for Tiny Toons to come out on DVD lol.

I also have to buy the Animaniacs DVDs too!

I picked up Freakazoid today. I'd like Tiny Toons but Animaniacs V3. (which I still need) and Freak are more important than Tiny Toons V1 or Pinky and the Brain S2 or 3 (which I also still need). Freakazoid is still as shap and silly as ever. I wish it had lasted longer. I miss the 90's.

I don't have any money for Tiny Toons :( we were short on our damage deposit so I had to chip in what money I had.

Anyways I'll get the Tiny Toons, but Freakazoid I'm not too sure about I know I've probably seen it waaaaaay back when it was on t.v but I can't remember anything about it or if it's even worth getting. Most likely will be an impulse buy if I do get it.

I used "Photo Booth" on my macbook and I guess it didn't reverse the picture or I didn't know how to manually do it myself.

Glad to know I am not the only one feeling angry about the packaging. :)

I picked up the Tiny Toons set and wished the packaging was like this for Animaniacs. Call me crazy, but I prefer a slimmer look in addition to not having discs overflapping each other (which is a pain to deal with sometimes). So far the initial episodes were very entertaining. The only complaint I have for this release is no chapter stops. Animaniacs got 'em so why not Tiny Toons? :? I still need to pick up volume 3 of Animaniacs and hope a date for the final set will be revealed soon.

If you want a Volume 4 the best way to do that is buy Volume 3. Warners was disappointed with the sales of Volume 3. While not outright cancelled, Volume 4 is on long term hold while Warners explores other properties.

It's odd really, I am looking for it in stores (even though I already have a copy) and they are all sold out. I would think this is a good sign that sales are up.

Are any stores having a sale on Tiny Toons? I might be going down to the mall on friday and I know there's a Best Buy, an FYE, and a Target down there.

The best price for Tiny Toons is at Target at 34.99.

I went to my favorite used DVD store - CD Tradepost - on my way to Best Buy and they had a Tiny Toons on the shelf for only $16.99, so I picked it up. When I got to Best Buy and saw the $39.99 price tag, I knew that I really got a good deal.

And I like the packaging, I don't like the Season I Volume 1 thing though. Why not give us full seasons like Animaniacs.

:D

Well first, from what I have read Tiny Toons' first season was 65 half hour episodes long.

Second, Animaniacs also did not have Season sets, they had volumes too! Since they also had a 65 episode first season, then a four episode second season (in the Fox Kids to Kids WB transfer) , 13 episode third, 7 episode forth and a 9 episode final season. Which means that most of the third season and all of the forth and fifth have yet to be released to DVD.

So Tiny Toons is doing the same thing as Animaniacs but a little bit clearer than before.

It's been out for days now and not one single store in this town has either Freakazoid or Tiny Tonns :( :x It completly irritates me that a movie can come out and everyone else can get it yet the stores here seem to be a week behind or more. WHY did I ever let myself get talked into moving from Vancouver. Perhaps the next town over will have it =/

Bought Tiny Toons today, they had it for $34.99 at FYE which is a good price of course.

Uggh I hate how one of the discs is double-sided though... poor Plucky doesn't get to be on one of the discs =( lol.

But I don't normally mind double sided discs, like if it's "widescreen on one side and full screen on the other" for movies, but that's only because it doesn't matter if one of the sides gets dirty and messed up.

Oh well, can't wait to start watching it =D

I got both Tiny Toon Adventure and Freakazoid at Amazon..best buy didn't have Freakazoid...and TTA was way to expensive.

So did I MickeyMousePal. I really wonder why TTA is $40 when Animaniacs was only a mere 30 on release week.

I only got into Freakazoid! a few weeks ago and WOW it is a show I have greatly missed out on! It is seriously the best random, super-hero, chaotic, hilarious and awesome cartoon ever. (By the way, many found "Relax-o-vision" hilarious, but I found it annoying.) I'm glad I bought this set; can't wait for the other DVD set!
