If you buy Enchanted on DVD, inside you will see a coupon for $10.00 off Enchanted on Blu-Ray. I read it in the reveiw section of this site for Enchanted.
I'm waiting.

I'm holding off on blu-ray because.
1) The players are overpriced.
2) The discs are way overpriced.
I understand that the price of blu-ray players actually jumped right after Toshiba gave up on HD.
They need to bring the prices down because,
1) I doubt sales of discs will compete with DVDs until they are reasonably priced like it happened with the price difference between VHS and DVD.
2) DVD sales will taper off as people like me start waiting to buy a movie in blu-ray, becasue we don't intend to purchase the same disc twice. My DVD buying will be limited to old TV series that probably will not look that much better in HD.
3) Player has to come down to around $100 before your average buyer will upgrade. Look at DVD players now for only $40.
