Okay, I'm certainly excited for this release for more than just that bonus feature, but still...

Between "Waking Sleeping Beauty," 'The Boys, and "Walt & El Grupo" - lots of good new Disney docs right now.

Why the sudden influx? Or did I just miss some documentaries over the last few years.

Disney documentary DVD exclusive offer!
http://animatedviews.com/2010/disney-do ... ive-offer/

That's not a bad price at all. I don't know if places like Target and Best Buy will even carry these, so it makes the most sense to buy these from Disney Movie Collections. I wonder if Disney will use this instead of DMC Exclusives in the future for some films not on DVD...?

Anybody else having trouble ordering these? A couple of weeks ago, I pre-ordered them and I printed out the receipt and everything (but didn't get a confirmation e-mail for some reason). Then, I decided to call today, because I was curious when it would arrive and apparently, I wasn't listed on their database and I checked my credit card account and nothing was listed.

So, I decided to order it again (the girl on the other end was very helpful, which was good) and decided to use a different e-mail account and now I'm awaiting the confirmation. But, she said she would call back on Monday to see if everything turned out okay. Is anybody else experiencing this problem? Both times I gave a valid e-mail address and my credit card works perfectly fine, so maybe it's an issue with Disney.

I ordered mine around the end of October and got a confirmation e-mail, but they haven't come in yet. Strangely, a friend of mine got theirs on the 23rd. I'll have to give Disney Customer Service a call if my package doesn't show up tomorrow or Monday.

I ordered all three of the films through Disney Movie Collections and never received a conformation email. I called in the day after asking about the purchase and the girl found me using my email. She gave me a conformation number and said the money wouldn't be taken out of my account until 11.30 when the films would be released and shipped. Well.. it's already been taken out of my account, but I'll definitely be calling on that day to make sure they are shipped.

Hhm, that's odd. So, I'm not the only one that this has happened to. I will definitely call again on Tuesday, if I don't get another e-mail. This is confusing me so very much. I still didn't get my confirmation e-mail and I'm positive I put in all of the required info. I have a feeling something is wrong with Disney's computer system that is causing it to erase info or something like that.

I ordered mine through the Disney Movie Club which had a better offer. It's cheaper to get all three there with the same three bonus lithographs, and it's even cheaper to get the three movies without the bonus lithographs since they are currently offering 60% off additional titles to established members.

I just got a confirmation email! Hopefully you did too. :) I suppose they don't confirm the payment, just the shipping. Although there was no tracking number attached.. It's pretty lame that it's going to take seven to ten days to arrive.

I didn't get a confirmation e-mail regarding the shipment. :( And they never called me today, like they promised. I will call tomorrow and ask what's up.

As Granny Kincaid would say, "This is a fine howdy-do."

It turns out the order was made, but simply has been on hold at the warehouse because of some confusion regarding the shipping charge. In addition to the 3 DVDs, we had put an additional copy of Waking Sleeping Beauty (Kram just wanted that one, I wanted all three) on the order, and since that one had a different shipping charge than the 3 DVDs, the system or whatever got confused and simply kept the entire order on hold. It wasn't until I called Disney Movie Collections today to ask about it did they figure that out, and now the whole kit and caboodle will finally arrive two weeks from now.

On the plus side, I did get a very helpful cast member on the other end of the line. If anyone else has problems with their order, ask for Lori.

Of the three documentaries, this one is my favorite. The bits about the movies are nice, even if they are sort of repeated from previous bonus features and the Shermans' book, "Walt's Time." The accounts about Dick and Bob and how their experiences impacted their work are fascinating. I'd rate the three movies like this:

1. The Boys

2. Waking Sleeping Beauty

3. Walt & El Grupo

Needless to say, if you were going to buy just one of these movies, make it this one.

Do they talk about the original Journey into Imagination anywhere in this? I loved the original, before they ruined it.

I don't think they do. There wasn't really much talk about their contributions to the parks after they left Disney.
