Not sure I could list all of my books in one place. I am a librarian after all, and books are in my blood.

For example, behind me sits about 20 distinct books on various Disney theme parks. In the other room, I have a collection of read and unread novels from Chuck Palahniuk to Cormanc McCarthy and a bit of Poe and Dante in between. Then there is my 'graphic novel' collection. Not to mention all the stuff I still store at my parent's place (hundreds and hundreds of books, including my treasured Poe and Dante - including a rare(ish) edition of Inferno with the Gustav Dore art).

Let's just say: lots...

On a related note, having fun on the iPhone with eBooks at the moment. Stanza, eReader and BeamItDown are all quite good...have H.G. Wells; Homer; F. Scott Fitzgerald and others all happening there. It's the future, man

How about I list a few favorite authors...

I mostly like Science Fiction/Fantasy, but I am a big fan of the Cat Who... mystery series by Lilian Jackson Braun, as well. I also like older mysteries like Ellery Queen & Erle Stanley Gardner, kid's books like the Hardy Boys, Tom Swift and Danny Dunn, and so on. I also have a lot of the classics - Little Men, Pinocchio, The War of the Worlds, The Three Musketeers, Robinson Crusoe, Treasure Island, 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea...

In addition, I like non-fiction, on everything from holograms to sword-making... comic strip books (Garfield, Get Fuzzy, Calvin & Hobbes, etc.,) cookbooks, origami books, woodworking, guns, and so on.

Wouldn't even want to take a shot at this, but I'll say this much:

I don't go much or fiction books (novels, I mean; children's books are okay, and definitely comics). Mainly, I like informational books, especially art books (particularly the more commercial stuff like art for films and from films, like Disney movies and such), and books on the unexplained/paranormal (still talking informational), and I like comics and graphic novels (mainly Disney and Star Wars, but I want to expand to the superhero stuff someday since I love the films and cartoon shows), and pin-up girl art books, and comic strip collections... I did read the Star Wars novels like crazy when they first started coming out, but then I could no longer keep up with the crazy amount they were releasing. I was starting on the Indiana Jones books then too, and I have all the ones from that time (though I think a couple more came out with the release of Crystal Skull. Those and the true classics (Huck Finn, Dracula, etc...) are the only ficton novels I really tend to like to waste my time on. In general, I'm a movie guy, and I really think the whole idea that books are somehow better and better for you than movies is ridiculous.
