They enlarged his original one-line role into a larger supporting one, which resulted in the Music Box character being dropped.

It symbolizes the fact that Belle and Beast are outcasts- no one else really wears blue in the film.

computers were used to create the CGI ballroom. they wanted to use it again for the forest chase but it was too expensive :wink:
