well i dont think disney aimed at a pg-13 i think there was no way around getting a G for a pirate movie that is suppose to attract all ages. unless it was a kiddie fare and not a action movie! so im glad they got pg-13 as long as this doesnt start been a trend is nice to see a pg-13 disney movie every once in a while. and i think this movie will bring some big bucks.

I don't think this is a trend - they're still the family film studio - but an occasional PG-13 action blockbuster isn't a bad idea. The way things are going now it should bring in big money. The only other movies in the Disney pipeline right now that I can see getting PG-13s are Haunted Mansion and Pirates II as well as any other future sequels. Otherwise I think it's not a trend and we're fine.

Yes! I usually give recent live action Disney a miss, but this one I'm looking forward to (can't beat a good pirate yarn).

Hope it sails down our end of the world soon!

Flashy visuals over plot? Style over substance?
You got that right. And of course, the "cool" use of hues.

MickeyMouseMan: The film comes out on the 9th of July...

And after seeing a clip of it on Leno, I see why the film got a PG-13... Drunk people... hahaha! But Jay say's the film is good, so it must be... he's raving about it! ;)
