The Changeling was the only movie I can ever remember scaring me.

I had to take my brother out of Jaws 2 because he could not handle it.

I think what you mean with 'giant spider things' are the giant 'crab-like' creatures. Try to watch The Dark Crystal again and you will see what I mean.

I don't really recall being scared of a movie when I was a kid. Certainly not Disney movies. I saw The Dark Crystal in cinema, and though I can imagine kids being scared of that movie (the Skeksis are quite frigtening too!) I was old enough at that time to handle it.

Actually,there people who are still thinks that Snow White,Sleeping Beauty and the Beauty and the Beast are creepy,some people told that it's a bad idea to see Sleeping Beauty in 1:00 AM,which is what I sometimes do :lol:.

No movies scared me as a child, nor have movies ever scared me since. (I sat through Wanted the other day and didn't flinch; twas too busy rolling my eyes at my boyfriend and trying to make another friend not leave the theater.)

The entertainment that scared me as child was a book. It wasn't even made to be scary. It was The Little Engine That Could. Yes. I'm serious. The big, defeatist trains frightened me and made me run out of the rooms.

I have no clue as to why.
