Hannah Montana's movie is coming out in April in Disney 3-D. Well, a taping of her concert is... Found that out on Disney Channel this morning.

As much as I loathe Hannah Montana, except for the apperances with Vicki Lawrence and Dolly Parton. But what's so wrong with shooting in Tennessee? It's one of the most beautiful places, in my opinion. This drought sucks, though. Yeah, I know Hannah Montana Movie would have very little chance being shot in East Tennessee, but I can dream, can't I?

...... The only reason I would see this is in hopes that I see a teaser or full fledged Trailer for Bolt (formerly known as American Dog) as Bolt will be the next Disney CGI Film in Disney Digital 3-D Film in theaters fall of 2008

other than that.. I will be passing on this....

and According to the article The Hannah Montana 3D Concert will only be in theaters through February 1st - February 7th... ONE WEEK ONLY

oh no the series will outlast raven. miley hannah products are hot sellers.
so the show won't go off. miley has signed to do 4 albums for hollywood records. miley's album not hannah montana. miley's material is lots better than the hannah material.
they need to release a dvd of the best of both worlds tour too. after the movie leaves the theater. it would be stupid not too. there is more money to made with the dvd sales too.

I was curious as to how much tickets to the Best of Both Worlds 3D concert movie are, so I checked- $15! At all the theaters near me that it's playing in...that's really expensive for a movie (I mean, it IS a 3D movie, but still!), but we all know how much tickets to the tour are, so it's almost a bargain...of course it's not a live event or anything...now I'm just blabbing...

Anyhoo, if anyone was interested, tickets are $15 each to the Hannah Montana 3D concert movie.

WHY!!!!!!! The only good episodes of Hannah Montana are the ones with Dolly Parton. Miley is so annoying. I only watch that show for Jackson and Ricco ( Is that how you spell it?). But to do a movie, a 3-D movie? All I have to say is SPARE ME!!!

Wait...whats the Lalaine drama?? All I know is that she was in Mexico for the longest time!! She even missed her own Graduation...geeze.

Anyways...I like Hannah Montanna...so a movie would be cool! :)
(I hope no one in my personal life posts here...or knows who I am...)
I think Miley is a nice girl. So I credit her with what she does.
I like Romi Dames(Tracy Van Horn)...she cracks me up.

*sigh* one day I'm just going to yell out of no where "I LOVE HANNAH MONTANA!! WHAT!?!"

Well, this 3D movie is different from the upcoming "Hannah Montana" movie. This 3D movie is a movie of the Hannah/Miley/Jonas Brothers concert tour, where the upcoming feature will be a movie of the TV show, similiar to how "Lizzie McGuire" has its own movie.

I meant to put an and instead of a comma. I wasn't paying attention. But I still say spare me, the show is annoying and lacking in a whole lot of common sense. I know alot of shows tend not to but this one just goes way overboard. (Even though I watch it sometimes and only for characters who aren't Miley.)

Julian Carter wrote:Now, I've never seen these shows like "That's So Raven" or "Hannah Montana", as I've never had Disney Channel (is it even available in my country? :? ), but personally, I think it's a foolish decision to adapt/finish off a TV series on the silver screen.

1) It's bound to not be so good. I've never seen any Disney movies of this type, but from what I hear, the critics aren't really fans of the "Lizzie McGuire Movie".

2) It cheapens cinema. When I go to the theatre, I wouldn't like to see and extended version of a TV series. It's just not that cinematic, I guess - and weird, in my book.

If they must make it into a movie, can't they content themselves with a TV production? I find it very difficult to think of such material being seriously worthy of the big screen.
As much as I'd like to agree with you, I know it's going to do good. I know I won't watch it, for all the reasons you mentioned, but there's still all those kids (and even adults) who are in love with Hannah's (digitally edited) singing, and her (not so great) acting.

That music video they keep showing on Disney Channel looks okay, although I'm still not going to watch it. lol

I"m actually exited :D (Yeah,this/next summer's films seems weak,I"m exited for a few films).
There will be a new season after the movie? (And how old Hannah is in this film?).

I think that the movie might be the end of the series, like how The Lizzie McGuire Movie was the end of that show. But I'm not 100% sure. And, if Miley's a freshman this season, she'll probably be a sophomore next season, so maybe it'll be the summer between her sophomore & junior years? If it takes place in the summer, I don't know.
