I'm just recording it for now. There's no guarantee that I'll be able to find it at Best Buy or Circuit City.

I do wish they had a Vault Disney channel. One with like NO commercials, with movies like Pollyanna, Parent Trap (Haley Mills), Swiss Family Robinson (glad I bought that Vault Disney DVD) and many others that Disney Channel refuses to air. They'll air Harry Potter but they won't air Pollyanna ?

O.K., here is the list for February, ya? [and March too]

-Starting at 2:30 pm on the 2nd is The Black Hole (1979), followed by 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea (1954) at 4:15 pm on the same day.

-"Holy cabooses!" The Absent-Minded Professor (1961), will be shown at 4:15 pm, Bedknobs and Broomsticks (1971)[!!!!!!] will be sown at 6:00pm and Who Framed Roger Rabbit? (1988) will be shown at 8:00pm on the 9th. Bedknobs, however, is the theatrical cut not the extended version.

-The Nightmare Before Christmas (1993) will be shown on the 10th at 8:00 pm

I realize that two of these are Touchstone films but I think they deserve mention.

After that there won't be another Disney film shown until March 10th when The Absent Minded Professor (1961) and Son of Flubber (1963) will be shown back to back starting at 8:00 pm. And that's it for the month of March

Woohoo! I haven't seen the theatrical version of Bedknobs and Broomsticks since 2005!

ATTENTION TO ANYONE WHO HAS A DVR:
I would very much like a high-quality DVD copy of the theatrical edition of Bedknobs and Broomsticks. It is airing on February 9 at 6:00 pm on Turner Classic Movies. I am willing to pay $5 for it, but if you're willing to send it free, that'd be fine too. PM me if you can do this!

Hallmark channel had "The Ugly Dauschand" on television yesterday morning. That's a Disney movie. Thanks Hallmark Channel for airing Disney films Disney channel refuses to air.......

I watched The Black Hole, The Ugly Dachsund, and 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea yesterday for the first time. The Black Hole was interesting, but I just couldn't get into it. I enjoyed The Ugly Dachsund a lot, mostly beacuse I grew up with dachsunds. I had seen 20,000 Leagues Under the Sea a long, long time ago, but I didn't remember anything about it. It was okay, but I didn't really enjoy it.

Movies on Hallmark

I have watched many of the movies on Hallmark, but they seem to cut some scenes in order to fit the movie into the time needed. I noticed this first when they aired The Apple Dumpling Gang Rides Again.
Not meant as a complaint, I just like to see Disney films in their entirety! :-)

I have not seen any on TCM yet, hope to check soon.

For April The Strongest Man in the World (1975) will be shown on the 6th at 10:00 a.m. (and will be in letterbox apparently) and Son of Flubber (1963) will be shown on the 20th at 10:00 a.m.

What makes this more interesting is that they will be shown on BOTH the US and Canada stations. This is great news since it has been a year since Canada last saw a Disney film on it's TCM. I don't know what the delay was but I'm glad to see it's been worked out!

Candleshoe (1977) will be the only Disney movie shown on TCM in May. The date and time are the 31st at 2:15pm.

This is for the US schedule, it's too early too check for the Canadian but hopefully it will be on. I've never seen this before and would really like to.

The Hallmark Channel is having a "Disney" Easter all day tomorrow I guess. Starting at 10AM eastern, they will be airing:

The Apple Dumpling Gang
The Apple Dumpling Gang Rides Again
The Swiss Family Robinson
Annie (The Wonderful World of Disney version)
Flight of the Navigator

As I'm typing this, they are also playing the original The Parent Trap, and later tonight they will air Iron Will.......

Holy Toledo! The Hallmark Channel is what the Disney Channel should be!!!!!!

I agree - the Disney channel SHOULD be airing older movies, but ooh booo hooo, they can't.........the channel isn't for everyone, its for the teenie boopers who've never heard of Haley Mills.

If it weren't for Hallmark airing Disney movies, I'd never been able to record the original parent trap to a DVD-R disc (the Vault Disney is OOP and I refuse to buy the two movie collection).

I rented Ugly Dachshund from Blockbuster.

It's that time again. Time to tell everyone which Disney flicks will be shown in June.

Freaky Friday (1976) will be shown on the 30th at 6:00pm, but it doesn't say it will be letterboxed. Weird Disney made a widecreen release for the film.

That's it for June, and it looks like Candleshoe has been pulled off the Canadian lineup. At least Son of Flubber hasn't been.

That could change. Strongest Man In the World was originally listed as letterboxed but later changed to fullscreen on the schedule. It was shown this morning as fullscreen as the updated schedule stated. So, Freaky Friday could be changed to letterboxed as the date approaches.

I saw that too. It's a shame Disney hasn't given it a widescreen release. The Barefoot Executive was also shown in fullsccreen, but I think that it's a open matte version.

Does anyone know if TCM in the UK is planning on featuring Disney movies? Or is it a State-side exclusive? :?

20,000 Leagues Under the Sea (1954) July 8th at 11:30 a.m.

I was using the guide on my TV, and it said "The Shaggy Dog" (1994 version) will be airing on Disney Channel on the 9th. My guide's been wrong before, so it could likely be the newer version or the older one. Just in case, I'm DVRing it.

It's the new one- I didn't see the commercial, but I heard it in the other room...I mean, I'm assuming that it's the new one, since it said that it's the Disney Channel Premiere of "The Shaggy Dog".

Aw that's too bad. Just in case, I'm going to wait and see a commerical first before I take it off my DVR schedule.
