I think a villans theme park would be great, but I'm not really sure parents would take their younger kids there, almost all the younger kids that go to Snow White's scary adventures come out weeping !

i like the idea of another gate and possibly even a theme park based on the villains....i dont think in orlando they will make another water park because you can go to wet n wild in orlando, sea world, discovery cove and seaworld is building a new awesome water park called aquatica that features water slides that go through dolphin and animal tanks!!! so i think something with somemore excitement in rides is needed here in orlando.....with more roller coasters....and they will def either way choose a broader name than villains like the others have suggested.....!

ooh a villains land would be fantastic.
I mean I can see Grimhilde's castle in the middle (the hub of the land) as a twisted mirror of the castle at the hub with the lake that is beside the castle in the movie which would lead you into a captain hook area which would eventually lead you to ursula's lair.
I can see a maleficent dark ride/roller coaster(elements) hybred.
Oh and how about all the shops form a street (another twisted mirror image!)
Gaston's tavern could be the main resteraunt of the land XD
I like the cruella test track-ish ride and maybe it could lead out to a clothes store (with TONS of fake fur)[/i]

I feel like this park should be a complete mirror of the regular park also. Main Street USA could be mirrored by Halloweentown! and they could use either The Evil Queen's or Maleficent's castle as the centerpiece. They could bring back Captain Hook's Pirate Ship! The Dark rides would be very interesting to see. They could take them as the story behind the fairy tale or something like that to make the villains look good. That would be really fun to see.
I would really love to see this come to life. If not as a seperate park maybe as a new land inside the magic kingdom. It could be called Villain Cove or something like that.

Sorry I've been MIA for quite some time.
My sources recently told me all the "new" coming to the wdwr earlier in March.
There is a new NIGHT theme park in the works behind DAK. I am not sure if it'll be a Villians theme or not...
It'll be open only half a day (at night) & it will not be valid w/ a park hopper pass but rather have it's own single ticket price there. (kinda like sea world- they have 3 parks- but no park hoppers) It will have zip lines & more "active" attractions in that sort. This park wont be ready til 2011/2012.
Also coming soon to the wdwr parks (some starting in 2009, some in 2010):
~Say goodbye to Spectro @ MK cuz this is it's last year running.
We will be getting the tokyo disneyland night parade "Dreamlights" in it's place. A very updated version of Main Street Electrical Parade which also features characters from disney/pixar films as well as the classics we loved from our version of ELP.
~Taking place of the day parade "Disney Dreams Come True" @ MK will be Disneylands' "Parade of Dreams"!!!
~Disney's Animal Kingdom will also have a sunset water lights parade on the moat that surrounds the Tree of Life kinda like the one that goes around 7 Seas Lagoon at nighttime.
~Also a new parade is in the works for Epcot, this one will feature disney characters. Haven't heard anything else on this yet- but i'll keep u posted once i hear.

About bloody time too. I love the parade, but it's been going on for awhile.

Night Kingdom is supposed to be like Animal Kingdom, mixed with recreational activities and a $300 admission charge like Discovery Cove according to Jim Hill, there is no villinas park so everyone here can just forget about it. The Rivers of Light parade for DAK has been canceled apparently. Both are rumors of course and should not be taken seriously until some press release or visible signs of construction are made.
All your coming soon stuff is just random rumors so we don't know if it's true. It's been mentioned in places like Micechat and WDWmagic, but because it's not know for sure please don't tell everyone that they are coming. Also, that Epcot one is about as vague and ridiculous as any rumor I've read recently.
Also, you may have enjoyed Tapestry Albert but the employees with bad backs and little compensation didn't.

Hm. That seems like it's more of a fan's dream, than what Disney would put out. The Sleepy Hollow Inn sounds really cool though. Let's hope it's true!

I really hope this park is built! It would be so cool
Something including the magic mirror in Snow White would be really good, like a walkthrough.

I've been thinking lately about Nanotech (yep I can be nerdy when I want to !), they say that the year 2020 will be the golden age of Nanotech, fuel will be based on nanobots, people who look exactly like James Dean, Elvis, and Angelina Jolie will roam right in your local mall (nano will physically alter all those obsessed fans), and buildings will take form by the touch of a button on an architect's computer.
Imagine how different all those theme park businesses will be, basically Disney would be able to build theme parks every week if they had land, since it would be that fast and also surprisingly cheap.
If they didn't have land, I bet they can count on high-quality Virtual Reality. (Matrix - Disney Style !)
Who knows maybe each Disney movie might have it's own theme park/ Virtual world after 15 years or so.
LOL I just hope doomsday doesn't come before this or else I'm gonna have to kick the Antichrist's demonic @$$ !
