That's an easy one. First of all, yes, they take ages in the bathroom, but you're overlooking one big significant point: Women go to the bathroom with a support group. Yep, you've seen 'em do it! They go in twos, threes, fours, even fives! Now imagine five men are going to the bathroom. One uses the bathroom, the other four wait. Now imagine five women go to the bathroom, they each bring three friends. Now there's a woman using the bathroom and fourteen outside waiting!

Women naturally take longer than men to go to the bathroom. Unzip, sit, etc. Also, women take longer to make themselves clean. They wash their hands longer, fix their hair, blah blah. Also, it's somewhere they can go to discuss certain things, like the people they are with, without being overheard. Also, it's a chance for all of them to pee at the same time, and not have to worry about it later, and it makes it less awkward for the person who is going away from the group. I usually go with my friends, but I don't usually have my friends go with me. I don't like it when someone is there.
