Firstly, I think John Williams is a better match for Indy than he is for Harry Potter.

Secondly, I am excited for Indy 4 but maybe more excited that Young Indiana Jones is finally going to see the light of day on DVD when Indy 4 when it is released. Edit - Just checked theraider.net and the first volume of YIJC is coming just before Christmas. Yeah

I think no Connery and no Rhys-Davies is going to hurt Indy 4 immeserably(sp?) although adding Karen Allen back into the mix is good.

Well, Rhys-Davies turned out to not have a part in the script in the first place. He wasn't in Temple of Doom either, so it makes sense and not really a travesty(let's just hope it's WAY better than TOD).

I wonder how they'll write Connery out as he had a part in the script but turned it down.

While disappointed to not see Indy in a velvet jacket(it's never Indy until he has the entire costume) it's great to see the man in the hat back! This is my most anticipated movie of the year 2008, more so than Narnia, Darth Knight and Bond 22.

Fantastic news! Thank you so much for posting, MM1!

I'm majorly anticipating this film! Indie will NEVER go out of style. The guy is a total rock star.

Really?! I didn't know that! She's an incredible actor. She and Harrison will make an awesome duo.

Wow my excitement for Indiana Jones 4 just spiked up! When I first heard they were making another one while ago, I was kinda bummed because I think the first three are such classics. But seeing Harrison Ford in his Indy wear today is awesome! Can't wait!!
Myself first hearing the news of Indy 4
"What the hell? Harrison can't be Indy anymore?? He's like 60 years old!"
I was wrong lol

But I suppose your never to old to play the part especially when you owned it...unless your a 60 year old Angelina going to reprise your Lara Croft role...yucka.

I have been waiting for years and years (like everyone else) for another Indy movie and I can't believe that it's only a year away!! FINALLY! I'm saddened a bit by the absence of Sean Connery, however I am a fan of Cate Blanchett and Shia LaBeouf so my hopes are high.

Still unsure about this movie, but I am excited to see it. I wished Sean Connery was part of it though.

Wow, I really liked the first picture. He looked very handsome on that!!
But on this pic now, he kinda looks shockingly old, but maybe that's just the suit and the white hair that isn't covered by the famous hat.

Indy 4 - Starring Harrison Ford as Indiana Jones and Shia LaBeouf as Danny Zuko. :D

Still massively excited about this. :)

Danny Zuko never rode a motorcycle in Grease (the film version, at least). :P

Maybe not, but he's still got the look, sort of.

Ah, who am I kidding? I don't know crap about Grease and I really don't care. :D Just reminded me of Travolta.

This movie still should be awesome.

I'd be hot too with all those bright spotlights and a crowded room. :P

Anyway, the title sounds pretty good, if we can be assured by Spielberg/Lucas that it's true. After all, Shia may have been joking (with a serious face to throw people off and a reference to crystal skulls, which have been speculated as being part of the film's plot), since Lucas said he wants the title to be unknown until the teaser trailer is released in November. But if it is true, now I'm trying to figure out what type of religion involves a Crystal Skull (raiders - ark of the covenant - judaism, temple of doom - sankara stones - fictional cult of hinduism, last crusade - holy grail - christianity).

I take it Indiana Jones and the hip replacement was vetoed?

Well, this is interesting. :)

Some parts of the movie might take place in Central America, because it was often linked to the crystal skulls with the Aztec stuff and whatnot. Whatever the place ends up being, I hope this fourth entry will be as enjoyable as the previous movies. I would've hoped that John Rhys-Davies would return, though, because he was wonderful as Sallah.

My vote was going to "Indiana Jones and the Ravages of Time". Thankfully it's not "Indiana Jones and the Attack of the Clones", because that would be the worst title EVER.
