Ohh really? That should be interesting. I mean they can both sing and you never really got to hear it, though being most songs were for the auditions there's a reason for it but I can't wait to hear them.

They bring back a lot of the other minor characters in this film, like Kelsi, but I'm not sure what role they play in the movie. Anyone want to clear me in?

From my understanding, "everyone" will be working at the country club.

I hope it shows them applying. I would hate it to be just Troy saying something like "Yo Chad, ready for our summer job".

BTW-I thought Sharpay and Gabriella "made up" at the end of HSM...for her to just turn mean again without question would be confusing. Why would she let Gabriella apply if they were fighting?

Anyway...I CAN'T WAIT! AHHHH!!!!!!!!!!!!!

High School Musical is...amazing. How could you not like it?

I mean...Amy explained it for the most part(aside from the fact that Corbin Bleu is in it... )

It has...everything! :D

Well, since PeterPanfan (I need to learn your real name, since you use mine!) mentioned him...

have any of you been watching on Disney Channel the "Road to HSM2"? They premiere Fridays at 7:55pm, and they run often throughout the week. The one this week shows Corbin and Huff (a dancer) doing this dance, and then a massage line. I'm so jealous of the girl who plays Martha, who was behind Corbin...wow. lol...I told my hubby...he probably rolled his eyes.
That dance was awesome, though. He's so talented! YAY!

I wish the "Road to HSM2" clips premiered more often...like at least 2 a week. I can't WAIT for HSM2!!!

Ya know I'm surprised so many people like and how big it has gotten and I'm not sure if its as good as all the fame its gotten, but its still a really good movie. As blackcauldron85 and PeterPanfan has mentioned the singing, dancing, and songs are good, as well as the actors (in which ever way you choose). It also refills maybe something that has been missing for awhile, a family musical. All the previous musicals that come out are pg-13, and more racy then some might think. Do you remember the Classic Disney films? Sure most of them were animated or stared animals in them, but it returns some good music and a really good theme. The theme is so applyable, from kids of all ages. You can have trouble with what you are and do anywhere from first grade to high school. A lot of high school students can see their own actions in it. I think that "We're All in this Together" is one of the best songs, for the song and the message.

The dances are supposed to be more extreme, I guess would be the word to use for this movie. I sorta wish it would change its title though, now it has nothing to do with a high school musical, that I'm aware of.

It's still a musical about kids who are in High School, so I think the title still applies. But I agree.

I've always wanted to see the winter musical, too! I love your idea, rs_milo_whatever! SpellWovenNight, what rs_milo_whatever means is that, since the 3rd HSM is called "Haunted High School Musical", the winter musical (that the auditions were for in HSM) could be a scary play, thus making the title "Haunted High School Musical" fit. But, I don't know if, after having HSM2, they'd go back to the HSM time period.

i'm afraid people who agree don't usually come into HSM conversations, but, i somewhat agree with you, the thing is that HSM2 is barely gonna come out so its obviously getting a lot of publicity for it.

I liked HSM and I enjoy cheesy movies, but in some parts I thought that HSM was way too unrealistic because everything seemed to be so perfect.

But well, I'm looking forward to the sequel and I hope it doesn't take too long before the DVD comes out here in Germany.

It would be great if the characters would develope a little bit. But anyway, I think it's gonna be fun. :)
