I like the Sleeping Beauty/Aurora wedding dresses the most. They look fabulous on that model. (Spring 2007/Spring 2008)

The last article has one rather glaring error though: Sleeping Beauty was not the original Disney Princess!
thank you!

Why they call Disney Princess Jasmine and not just Jasmine? like the other Princesses?.

I would say because Jasmine is based as far as I know off there own story where Cinderlla, Snow White, Aurora, Belle and Ariel were all technically made from already written fairy tales that Disney interperated.

Yeah, some of those dresses are really lovely. They've been out for a while, I think the newest collection was just released. I've been keeping my eye out for them. I would really love to wear one, considering how much I love the Disney princesses. And I just might actually be in the position to start looking for one soon... :)

But all the Disney Princesses are Disney's version (and Giselle is the only Disney Princess that her story is not based on a fairy tale or a story and was created orginally by Disney).
Thought in the original Aladdin story her name was different and she was a whole different character but still, the others are also very different.

I'd rather have the actual design of the wedding dresses that the Princesses wear on the pin series or on the water globe. I doubt a lot of people would realize the dresses were supposed to represent Belle or Ariel or whomever.

Thanks so much for posting this, MICKEYMOUSE! The dresses are gorgeous. They really do resemble the dresses in the movies (especially Jasmine, Ariel, and Belle). Too bad they didn't include Rapunzel.

For the record, you can get Disney princess-themed engagement/wedding rings too:

I like how the writer of the article seems genuinely surprised that some women are interested in Disney Princess gown. Trust me, no matter how old they are Disney fanatics WILL have a Disney Princess gown, if not do a while Fairy Tale wedding.

Oh my goodness ! ! ! ! This are immense ! ! ! !

But is it very wrong of me to want wedding dressed actually based on the dresses from the movies ? ?

Since I was about 4, I have been sure that Ariel's wedding dress was the one for me .... since I've gotten older, I've rethought the whole huge puffy skirt, massive sleeves etc !

The rings are interesting, but I can't distinguish which ones are for which princess ? I presume the one with the sort of crown shaped diamond is for Aurora ?

Whoops, guess I should have put this image up instead!

And for the heck of it, the prices. :o

Not to derail this thread too much (forgive me, I'm getting married this month so I've got this stuff on the brain), but I was actually looking for something very similar to the Belle one while we were looking at rings a few months back. I ended up getting something heart shaped and sorta Sailor Moon-esque instead.

Y'know, I think we'd be better off with some of the dresses not only being based off Princess dresses in the movies, but having them based off some non-wedding dresses. Like the pink one Ariel wears, and the "bayou wedding" Tiana dress.

That is EXACTLY what I was thinking ! ! Dye them white / cream colours and voila ! An actual Disney Princess wediding dress ! Care to go into business ajmrowland ? ?

And wow at those ring prices ! ! I fail to see how they resemble their characters though .....

You must be so excited enigmawing ! Very happy for you and offer my congrtulations to you !

^actually, I was thinking not dying them, but keeping their original colors. There's an entire niche of people who like theme weddings and other unconventional formal gatherings.
