				Very basic:
Smoking & cigarettes, smokers, uptight smokers who can't get it through their heads that what they are doing is disgusting and is killing them and can't handle people disapproving of them, and people who defend smokers and smoking - there is no defense for this behavior and these people
Alcohol - period.
Drunk people - I cannot be around drunk people, I always end up yelling at them and I soon become physically violent, I simply cannot tolerate idiocy and drunkenness
Drugs, people who pretend marijuana is cool just because trendy research says it's not as dangerous as cigarettes and alcohol, glorification of any drug use
You know what? I'm starting to get shades of another post like this... I've already stated all my pet peeves, I think most people know them.

People who constantly judge other people.
When people use the word "even" in unnecessary places in a sentence. For example, "I hate the movie Blah Blah. I don't even like it." Yeah, I'm sure none of you understand what I'm saying, but if you heard it, you would.
When people obviously need to clear their throats, yet continue to talk to without clearing it.
When someone is talking and accidently spits on the other person, while both people know the spit is there, yet the person who was spit on pretends they don't notice it and the person who spit knows the person is trying to pretend they don't notice, and the person who is trying to pretend they don't notice also knows that the person who spit knows that they are pretending not to notice. Wow, try saying that ten times fast!

Bad Clarinetists Playing High Notes -
It sounds like loud screeching. It's terrible! Luckily, I do not screech out my high notes and they sound wonderful. But anyone below like the 6th chair sounds horrible on their high notes and they should most definitely take it down an octave or two.
Bad Clarinetists Playing the Clarinet -
C'mon, just get a private lessons teacher. And if you don't want one, then why are you playing the clarinet?
That's really funny- I don't play as often anymore, but I've been playing for 12 years. Screechy notes are annoying.
Escapay wrote: People who blindly praise anything Disney does just because it's Disney, and won't give other studios any consideration.
I don't give other studios any consideration, especially not in the animation department. I know my uncle didn't understand when we were talking about animated movies why I wouldn't see something like "Open Season" just because it's not a Disney movie. He thought I was crazy. I just know that I love Disney movies...I don't care if I'm missing out on a "good" movie- I guess I can see how this is annoying to some, but I just know what I like!
Also, smoking is a pet peeve of mine. And slow-walking/driving people.

You play? What kind do you have? Wow, this is interesting, maybe we could talk sometime.

I have an Armstrong. I started in 5th grade, and played in the marching/concert band up until 8th grade. In high school, my parents wouldn't let me be in the regular marching/concert band (they didn't want to pick me up after the football games, since the band didn't get in until late), and their excuse was that I didn't like marching, which wasn't completely true- I didn't like marching in the heat. So, in 9th and 10th grades, I played in the stage band, which was a small jazz/swing band. It was fun, but my good band friends were only in the regular band...I'm in college now, and not in band...I'll pull Harrie (I named him Harrie da Clarie [I was 10!]) out once in a while and play. Mostly Disney music (of course- the "Disney Fake Book" is great)!

That's nice. I have a Buffet. I too started in 5th grade, and I'm currently in the 9th and plan to be in next year's marching season. I like marching, but, like you, the heat really gets to you. And then in march, the cold really gets to you. It's weird, because you start out hot, sweaty, and can't move, and then in the end you start out freezing, frostbitten, and can't move

. Anyway, I think I'll always continue to play my clarinet because it's just fun.

I'd rather march in the cold than in the heat. We played in a (I think it was) St. Patrick's Day parade in middle school, and it snowed (I'm from Massachusetts originally). Clarinet and oboe players (I think the oboe players) can't wear gloves, since you have to cover the holes. That can make a person jealous, to see the other instrument players wearing gloves...grrr...! I need to play more...it is fun!

Escapay, do you know what my younger sister Pat is continually asking me? "What is the point of slip covers? What is the point of slip covers? What is the point of slip covers?" One day, coffee spilled on her copy of Mulan II.
"Is that the point of slip covers?"

Hehe, no hard feelings. I was just trying to make a funny. I think we're all guilty of making pointless posts every now and then.
EDIT: But the new episode on Sunday one wasn't pointless if you read the thread. People were saying that there wasn't going to be a new episode and I was pointing out that TV.com said there would be, though it turned out I was wrong.

High temperatures when it's not time for them to occur yet
That's all I can think of for now.
Oh, yeah, I thought of a few more:
My parents always getting snitty for me not cleaning the kitchen
People saying "Excuse me" when they have to muscle past me
Bad grades
Time constraints
Being forced to have dinner with family instead of just by myself
Cheese
The word "dirty" as another word for "used" (i.e., clothes, dishes, etc.). I prefer "used" or "unsanitary"

				when my mom does it:
asks me to get something for her but doesn't finish saying what she wants then gets frustrated and gets it herself.
when i try to help her she doesn't want me to help her and wants me to help her when i don't help her.
when she buys full-screen instead of wide which i like. one day when i got wide she said you want wide? and made me get full instead.
stuff at school:
when people try to take my stuff without permission.
when they have permission and lose it it like crazy.
when people keep asking me for a pencil and paper. are they too lazy to buy their own?
when a guy tries to brush my hair.
when a guy acts gay to me.
when the hall gets so congested.
stuff in general:
every bad thing a person does while driving.
when people say Harry Potter is satans spawn or something similar.
when people say Disney is satan's company.
religon. i hate it when people hate other people because they are a differnet religion from them. heck my family is Pispitarions and people calls us Christans.
when people asume every bad thing thing is done by a black. like for example, a kid got beat up and people thought the kids were black but they were white and hispanic.
spanish, i just can't get a hang of it and hate it when people say it's so easy but i can speak Japenese better than spanish.
when people always assume movies like shrek is disney, like at my old school we weren't allowed to bring disney movies

and i got in trouble for bringing shrek which is dreamworks people.
whenever someone uses the f word i just want to hit that bitch.

mean people.
when people talk about Texas like it's heaven on earth when it's really hell on earth.
when we go to wal-mart, buy something, go to target and find it cheaper.
that's all i can think of.
