True dat. Plus Susan Sheridan was 38 when she voiced Eilonwy (had to throw that one in, as I forgot all about her, and she already gets forgotten enough...).

i love raven, and believe me- i love her, but she doesn't have the sound of a disney princess( i thought the same thing when i read this). and seriously wasn't this what we wanted disney to come back to??? i personally i don't want ANY disney pop culture to stain this, i'm tired of it

i agree, i like most of disney's fairytales and i have been waiting for this one to become a movie, i can't wait either!

I just love Alicia Keys' voice. It would be the perfect choice.
What concerns me most about this movie is the screen time that the heroine will have as a frog. I mean, if we're gonna see another "Llama" as in "The Emperor's New Groove", you can have it. I want a HUMAN leading lady!!!

I think it would be cool if either Jennifer Hudson or Alicia Keys were the voice for the Frog Princess. They both have deep, soulful voices, but I think they could also sound light and young too. Also, they are both beautiful singers and could do their own singing for the movie as well. Yay!

i mean, i wasnt talking about Jennifer's age. Her voice is too deep and mature, that's why i don't think it would be a good idea. ;P but , well, im sure that if she does it it wont be THAT bad...shes amazing! ^^

i know what you mean, princesses usually have a sweet voice, who knows? may be this will work, as long as this is a TRUE disney project....its all good
