and that the factory sealed box holding everything that was inside the shipping box being crushed in on its side while the shipping box is in perfect condition not all that bad.
That's not quite what I was "telling you"...

according to the bestbuy website, the best buy at 845 N Alafaya Trl, Orlando, FL 32828 has it in stock. i would suggest returning the one you got through the mail, and seeing about getting it at bestbuy.
or try downtown disney, or the virgin megatstore that i said had the rarities treasure.

[quote="Lars Vermundsberget"]Would you know whether getting your orders beaten up is very representative of the internet shopping experience, or have some of you just been unlucky once and then decided "never again"...?
Your experiences and shopping decisions are probably of no consequence to me, so I have no particular need to convince any of you about anything. But I think it's strange: Can it really be that bad all in all?

sure looks like thats what you were saying to me.
you want to know what i think is strange a quality control person packaging up a obviously damaged box into the box being used for shipping.

No no no - that one instance was bad, obviously - but I was questioning the "badness" of the overall situation: Is that bad experience really representative of ordering online?

thx ltinker for the info but the reason i ordered online again after being disappointed was only b/c i got it for $17...which is such a good deal...so i just cant rise to return it and spend twice as much for the packaging....however i will only buy my treasures from best buy now till forever

I ordered Chronological Donald Volume 2 a week ago and I got it yesterday only to find out that the back part of the tin was missing the paper and the tin was slightly dented.
The actual dvd was okay. The certificate and the mini poster were intact and the dvds worked fine.

I'm not surprised about it missing the back paper- the past few waves have had the back paper (barely) glued to the back of the tin...they come off so easily.
