Yes, you can expect Wave 4 in December. In the Mickey's 75th birthday press release I found it has listed Mickey in B&W Volume 2 for next winter. The full list is on the 75th thread.

I got one too. Although I was puzzled that they had "May 4" as the due date for the delay discs. when I was under the impression that it was May 18.
At any rate, what is an extra 2 weeks when the discs are 5 months late?

Got my Amazon e-mail yesterday. Even though I know they would never do this, I kept expecting a line saying that they were going to cancel the orders thus we'd lose the $23 price-point. Was relieved to get through it w/out reading that.

I also got the e-mail from amazon but the dates on my actual order info have not changed.
There have been a few comments basically saying "Hey, folks - you're making too big a deal over this...it is only a 6 month delay...you will eventually get the Treasures!!!"
In my own strong opinion, you can not make TOO BIG of a deal about this. Although I have accepted the fact that it will be May 18th or so when I get the treasures (if Disney doesn't come up with another "reason" to dealy them), I have been waiting for the On The Front Lines set for TWO AND A HALF YEARS!!! The set was originally set to be part of Wave 2, which is why there ended up only 3 sets instead of 4.
So having to wait another 6 1/2 months (2 December 2003 to 18 May 2004) is a BIG deal to me.
Like everyone else, I will have to wait until May 2004 at least and hope Disney doesn't delay release again.
Well...when the news of the On The Front Lines was first announced for Wave 2, I said that I would believe that set being released uncensored when I played it in my DVD player. It was not released. When it was delayed for Wave 3, I said the same thing, and now all four sets are "delayed" until May.
I seriously give up on the Disney Corporation, I won't believe any future release until I actually have it.

From the article at
www.videopremiereawards.com :
Although the studio could replicate enough DVDs to meet demand for the December release, the tin case packaging that all Disney Treasures have been released in could not be reproduced in time, said MacPherson.
Proves my point once more: The tin cases are a really bad idea.

I rather wait until May than staying without my Treasures.

Mr. Maltin also answered my e-mail. No news, though, but he was very nice and sympathetic. Well, here it is:
Hello...
I am so glad to hear from a fellow Disney fan from South America, and I'm delighted that you've been able to get some of the Walt Disney Treasures discs. They are a labor of love for me, as you probably can tell.
I'm sorry you've had difficulty obtaining the others; believe me, I've heard the same complaints from friends here in the States who didn't buy them when they were new.
There is one alternative: Disney has made a new 7-disc boxed set available through an American store called Costco. They are the same as the original releases, but they don't come in the numbered tins. The website link is
http://www.costco.com/frameset.asp?trg= ... 36909&log=
As for other Disney titles coming out on video, I am sorry to say that I have no input whatsoever... I don't always agree with the company's decisions about their vintage titles, and I wish I could get my hands on them. Perhaps some time in the future.
Meanwhile, thanks for your enthusiasm and interest.
all good wishes,
Leonard Maltin
I still need Mickey Mouse in Living Color, Silly Symphonies and Complete Goofy. The first two I'm going to get when they are released here in Brazil next week. I hope we also get "Goofy" someday, or that I'm lucky enough to find the R1 tin (not very likely, though).

So then you maybe must wait another ten years before you buy any!
