Also I was wondering does Cinderella III come with any Disney Reward Movie code? If it does it's probably worth 100 points.
I looked on the sight, and it is an eligible movie. It's 100 points.

wow, i'm vey impressed with the menus! especially the "audio options" menu - just absolutely gorgeous =) and the more i see, the more i like. watching the 8-minute preview made me even more excited. looks like this is going to rival TLM III. cindy 3 is much more interesting than cindy 2. well, you know what they say "The 3rd Time's The Charm!"

What psychedelic menus! *Rubs eyes*
The Back of the Cinderella III Case wrote:"With more magic, wonder, and suspence than the original."
Oh Disney, how you create your own little expectations to live up to....
Honestly, Disney's gotta have some serious confidence about this movie if they're claiming it's better than the original.
I'm not gonna lie, once I look past the fact that it's a sequel to a Walt film, this movie interests me. I can't help but be curious about the "What-if?" plot, and we already know this thing's gotta be better than C2, so if the UD review praises it, I might just pick this up.
Thanks for the preview,
lighthousemike!

Yes, I did think they were rather trippy! But anyway, I just wanted to say that I don't think Disney is saying outright it's better than the original. True, magic almost universally means a good, incredible feeling, but it also means magic as in the casting of spells. This sequel definately has more magic via the stepmother's misuse of the wand. Also, it wll certainly have more suspense as the suspense for Cinderella didn't really happen until the end, and this one already has it once the stepmother gets the wand, because that's when Cinderella is really put in danger. So I think they're saying it has more of the those attributes, but not necessarily better. Of course, in some people's opinion, like
Timon/Pumbaa Fan's, those attributes are just what
will make this film better than the original to
them.
Lighthousemike, once again, you go out of your way to give us something so wonderful! And you were even considerate enough not to give too much away! How thoughtful! If you update with more pictures,
please don't give away the very end and what happens to the stepmother. You're a really cool guy who's filled so many of us with joy by your previews, it's cool we can all join in and like something in common. No negative opinions of this so far...I hope it stays that way!

Bah, the animation looks cheap and the story is still as weak as the original!
Sorry, Duster, I just had to do it! Just to provide one negative (and false!) opinion. I quite like what I'm seeing in the caps and the storyline is quite intriguing. Reminds me so much of
Back to the Future Part 2.

Much thanks for posting, lighthousemike! It's always nice to get such a thorough preview before review copies even arrive.
Oh and FYI, I won't be reviewing this one. Aaron Wallace will be and that's a good thing because A) he's actually seen <i>Cinderella II</i> (so he has a <i>Cinderella</i> sequel in mind to compare it to) and B) he recently talked with <i>Cindy III</i> director Frank Nissen. Hopefully, we'll get to see both the interview and review by the end of this week, but I know that Aaron is busy, so it may take longer.

But anyway, we are only getting three songs?
Perfectly Perfect, At The Ball, and I Still Believe.... correct?
Any reprises in the movie? Anything other song expected in the movie???
Thanx so much.

That's a very good point, and you're right, that's probably what they're trying to say. It just kinda surprised me considering it's rare that we see a DTV sequel claiming to have something more than the original did, regardless of how they say it.
Only 5:00 for the featurette? Well, I guess that's about right for a DTV.

Well, if the current trend remains the same, the soundtrack will be released to iTunes. I know that the soundtrack from "Brother Bear 2" is available on that site. "The Fox and the Hound 2" is up as well, although I'm not sure if that is or isn't available in stores. At any rate, there is a good chance that the songs will either turn up for sale on iTunes or on the next Princess CD. That's how the songs from "Cinderella II" were released.

Just kidding. I shouldn't have jinxed the positivity! I'm glad you really like things so far.
lighthousemike: Okay, ummm...by posting the Scene Selection, I found out what Lucifer gets turned into...and now I know way more than I wanted to. It's not your fault though, I didn't have to come in here. It's actually my fault for looking at something I new might be spoiling. But please don't post screencaps from the very very end with the climax, please! Do what you want though, I'll just be treading around this thread a
lot more carefully!
Curiosity kills cats...so it's a good thing cats have nine lives.
Oh, and I almost forgot, I'm mixed about the animation. Some of it is great, some of it is not. And I'm REALLY rather ANGRY at the TRANSFORMATION at the anniversary party. Look at my avatar, then look at the scene. I can't believe they resorted to the FADE!!!!!! What, Disney Toon Studios can't MORPH?!! Even when they're essentially doing the first transformation over again, and they have the first example to look off of?!!
