Here's a PotC2 Blu-ray trailer:
http://progressive.totaleclips.com.edge ... 9_b2a1.mov (Medium - 4.4 MB)
http://progressive.totaleclips.com.edge ... 49_b2z.mov (Large - 8.9 MB)
http://progressive.totaleclips.com.edge ... 49_b2d.mov (480p - 17 MB).
http://progressive.totaleclips.com.edge ... 49_b2e.mov (720p - 31.9 MB)

Enjoy!

Now I could have done the At Worlds End featurettes (Podcasts - can't really see the difference), which is what people would have rather seen.

Looks like Curse of the Black Pearl on Blu-ray has some framing problems. Has anyone noticed this? From the pictures it reminds me of the Universal Back to the Future problems.

There are some comparisons of the DVD and Blu-ray there. It looks like peoples heads get cut off in the Blu-ray version. Odd...

....we're looking into today are reports of misframing problems on Buena Vista's Blu-ray version of Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl (compared to the DVD version)......and anything we learn we'll post here at The Bits.
I will have to check this out on my copy... I have not had time to watch the movie entirely but will for sure be checking out my copy of my POTC: The Curse of the Black Pearl...

I wonder if its just some Blu Rays of Pirates 1 that got this error or whether its all of them I will have to compare those pictures to my screen.. But probably I won't have time until tomorrow evening or until Friday....

Hopefully if they offer a disc replacement program...So I would stay tuned to www.thedigitalbits.com to seee if Disney replies witha solution...... If this is all of the Blu Ray discs of Pirates one... I wonder if Pirates 2 Had the same

I'm also wondering if its all the discs or just a "batch" of them that are like this. Anyway I don't think Dead Man's Chest has any problems.

I'm sure if there is a need, a replacement program will be offered.

thedigitalbits wrote:Also today, we have a follow-up for you on one other Blu-ray issue. Some of you may recall that a few months ago, viewers reported a framing problem with a few scenes in Disney's Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl Blu-ray Disc. Disney has apparently corrected the problem in production, so future copies going into stores will feature the correct framing (we'll try to find out if there's a way to identify corrected copies by the packaging - UPC number variation or something). In the meantime, if you have a copy with the mis-framed footage, you will SOON be able to call the studio's Blu-ray customer service hotline at 1-800-723-4763 (U.S.) or 1-800-877-2843 (Canada) to arrange an exchange. Don't call quite yet - we'll let you know when the fixed discs are ready. Just know that Disney has been working on the problem, and a solution will be available to you all shortly.

Well its about time.... they announced something.... Like I've said... stay tuned to www.thedigitalbits.com for more info on when to call...

Great news on the replacement for the Blu-ray. I wonder how long it will take for the "fixed" discs to reach retail stores, and if there will be a easy way to tell which version you have before you open it to play it.
