This will be a summer/autumn wishlist for me, as I am in the upside-down hemisphere (and in your future where apes rule).
Doing a hard target SAVE SAVE SAVE this year for my holiday in May next year. Will be doing a bi-coastal Disney theme park thing, and will hopefully run into a few UDers in the process (on my way through Vegas, Arizona, New Orleans, and New York in addition to Anaheim and Orlando). That's the PLAN anyway! I could almost afford to go now, but would be well and truly broke upon my return, so I need a bit more money (not to mention accumulated annual leave at work) before I go.
That said, there are a few titles I probably can't do without in the coming months:
- Peter Pan - Platinum
- Cinderella III
- Star Trek Animated (out next week here)
- Magnum S5
- The Departed
- Simpsons S9
- Deadwood S3 (although that is June and falls outside this list)
Walt Disney Legacy Wave 2 is about the only other one I can think of that I will come out in the near future that I will almost definitely buy.

So here we put what DVDs we plan on buying in the near future.
They don't have to be new releases, they can be DVDs that were released a while ago. It doesn't matter. This can help members keep track of what they plan on buying and let others see, too! Because we're all so nosy here...or at least I am.
In no particular order...
Dumbo: Big Top Edition
The Rescuers
Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl
Pirates of the Caribbean-Dead Man's Chest-2 Disc Version
Mary Poppins: 40th Anniversiary 2 Disc Edition
The Many Adventures of Winne the Pooh: Friendship Edition
The Jungle Book: Platinum Edition
Pocahontas: 2 Disc Speical Edition
Mulan: 2 Disc Special Edition
Old Yeller: Vault Disney Edition
Pollyanna: Vault Disney Edition
Fantastic Four-2 Disc Extended Edition
The Brady Bunch Season 4
The Brady Bunch Season 5
Family Guy Volume Six
I'm sure more will be added later.

There's so many that I want that I'll just link to these instead of posting them all here:
DVDs I want that have already been released.
DVDs I want that are coming soon.

Gotta love these seasonal topics. We've had so many in 2006 alone, I'm surprised that this is the first I've found for 2007 (unless I'm not searching hard enough, which would be bad for me and my nickname)
1
2
3
4
5
6
Anyway, rather than bore anyone with a long and drawn out wishlist, here's a nice shortlist of what I'm currently concentrating on...
Doctor Who - whatever titles I don't have yet
Disney Animated Classics- whatever versions that have yet to be released, along with a few I don't have yet
Audrey Hepburn/Gene Tierney/Montgomery Clift- notable films from each of their filmographies, with my highest concentration going to Gene more than Audrey or Monty.
TV Shows I'm Close To Completing on DVD - "Golden Girls", "Friends", "Beauty and the Beast", and "Doogie Howser, M.D.", with a few more that don't come to mind at the moment.
Current TV Shows I need to get previous/recent seasons on DVD - "Desperate Housewives", "House, M.D.", "How I Met Your Mother", and "Kyle XY", with a few more that don't come to mind at the moment.
Complete Series Sets I Want - "Star Trek: TNG", "I Love Lucy", "Twin Peaks", and "Friends" if I forego getting the seasons I need.

The separate editions of the Witch Mountain movies
Cadet Kelly (only because I'm a Hilary Duff completist, and I also need the Perfect Man, Material Girls, and the Cheaper By the Dozen flicks, plus that Penguin Christmas cartoon she did)
and a ton of other stuff... Plus, I keep forgetting to call Disney this week and see if they'll replace my Mickey Mouse in Living Color vol. 2 disc 2 without charging me anything, because the sound on Runaway Brain has been out of sync since I bought it, but I never thought to call and discovered it too late to return it to the store. Here's hoping they are cooperative.
