It did have its charming moments, but I was never impressed. It also had many crude and fairly nasty moments as well.

Aaron - I wrote that, not Slave. Nice to see I'm not the only one who got their Santa Claus world view from there.

Are there ANY films you like, Bob?! Where are the crude and nasty moments in this film? I was not a fan when it first came outt, as I said in this thread but it's kind of grown on me over the years. I think the sequels have more fart jokes than this did though. Santa should leave you a big, fat, lump of coal!

Unless the forum's going screwy, the one I quoted came from slave2moonlight, but you two actually posted just about the same thing on that point. So I guess that makes three of us who had our views of Santa formed in part by those movies.

I loved this movie when it first came out. I watch it every now and then..even when its not the season. Very enjoyable movie. Definitly the best of the three. Tim Allen plays a very convincing Santa in all three films but this one especially.
