Well, it seems there will be a chat session after all, since Luke has approved. I'll be there the first five minutes opening up the session and then I'll leave... I don't think I will be there much...

Tangela--
You put together a poll and invited people to basically vote for or against you, so you can't be surprised that folks would vote "no". Along those lines, you can't take things personally.
I don't know what folks' reasons are for voting yes or no. You did a nice job organizing things last week but perhaps people think you are trying to organize chats way too often even after Luke stated it could be a contributing factor in the end-of-the-month bandwidth issues.
Whatever the reasoning, don't take it personally. It's not a knock against you or your efforts...unless of course somone votes "no" and then follows that up with a post that says "Tangela you suck!!!". THAT is something you could take personally

Certain things don't really need a poll, Tangela. Bandwidth issues are a consideration, but if need be, we'll just have to pay for more at the end of the month. People who want to chat are going to, and those who don't, won't. I'm not sure what the purpose of the poll is - exactly - and I haven't voted. I do appreciate the effort given - but I do think Chat on AIM or something like that would be more customizable, reliable, and a complete save on bandwidth. But that assumes people have and use AIM or something comparable.
I don't know what to say.

I know that Luke, I just plced the Poll so that I would know if the people that were with us the other days enjoyed the chat session that I had...
I placed that poll thinking that people would give me some reasons why or shouldn't I organize chat sessions like this.

Well, so far I only did too chat sessions. The first one came because I thought the chat room was always empty. And the second one on Tuesday was only there because it was a holiday...
Besides, Luke agreed to have a chat session on Sunday and I stated that too. I'm always trying to save the most bw, that's why I was trying to install a php chat on another site, so that we could use that one instead of Luke's and save the bw (Which I think is $5.99 a can in Dominick's

)
So... The poll was meant to bring people to the thread giving suggestions and stuff.

I'm going to be in the chat now. The "House of Chat" session is now open...

You're free to chat on Sunday if you like. I have no qualms with that.
Yeah, it consumes a lot of bandwidth, and the chat software is pretty basic and lame, but if you enjoy it, go right ahead and use it!

I have noticed a lot of posts in various threads that reference the issue of bandwidth. How much bandwidth does this site use per month? Is it a huge amount or is your hosting service just very limited?

Since approved, the next chat session is on the Sunday after Thanksgiving, November, 30th. Happy Thanksgiving!

Don't take this personally, but I think that 5 consecutive posts without replies would take up bandwidth.
Oh, I just realized that maybe you just thought of different things to say later on. But you kinda seem to repeat yourself...
But hey, Rescuers is awesome (trying to suck up so you won't get mad

)
